  • Watched quite an interesting doc on the beeb yesterday about the 'rise and fall' of council housing. It's pretty good if you're into that sort of thing. Couple of 'nice' bits of London in there too.

  • Spiral series 3 was incredibly good TV - I've watched series 1 and now working through series 2

Now on i and iplayer dread

  • I'm enjoying 'Campus'. I think I might be in love with the maths professor...

  • Anyone else looking forwards to tonight's All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace?

I've long been fascinated by Cybernetics, and although i'm expecting Adam Curtis to take a fairly negative view of it's impact, I trust him to do it intelligently, and expect plenty of food for thought.

  • shadow line, is pretty good

  • shadow line, is pretty good

    The Shadow Line is incredible.

Really loving the mental gangster kid and the dude in the hat: sinister to the max

  • yup, just watched the second one tonight.....

"you really don't want to do that"

  • Finally finished LOST. So sad.

Loved every second of it. If you didn't, don't post here about it, this is a place for LOST love only.

  • Just started the first episode of Game of Thrones. Have recorded them all ready for a binge this weekend with a friend.

Watched the first 15 minutes of Ep. One last night, just to test it - I could easily see me getting sucked into it.

  • making my way through Dexter season 4 (yeah I'm a bit behind) in the middle of very boring end of year exam revision, and oh god it's sooo gooood

  • Also, just started S4 of Mad Men. Believe the hype.

  • Forgotten how intoxicating the first two or three series of River Cottage were before it became a bit too much of a business venture.

Top work from 4OD for making it all available.

  • Incidentally, Game of Thrones binge starts tonight at 7pm sharp. Can't wait.

  • I find it quite remarkable that the BBC can make awesome programmes and then make the worst ever seen, I'm referring to " Don't scare the hare ". Seriously ? What the fucking fuck is that ?

  • Anybody see that 'mega-city' thing Marr did last night on the BBC? Good opener. London was included, the filthy harridan; anyway they showed a clip of Critical Mass around town to show our libertarianism, but they chose to use the roller-blading CM footage. I mean, the other mega-cities could be heard laughing under their stinking breath.

  • It was good. I was cooking whilst it was on, but Andrew Marr is a lot better than the usual BBC crop of presenters. At least he has something intelligent to say, particularly about the poorer slum dwellers...

  • anyone catch the elephant man show last night?

the bit where they strap up that actor and stick that plate in his moosh to see what merrick may have sounded like and then goes on to read that poem had me and the mrs sniffling in the aisles.

amazing human being, just a shame he spent most of his short life being taken advantage of.

Anyone manage to catch this? It's heavy going but really really interesting, definitely try and catch it on iplayer if you can.

This. Saw it for the first time the other day.

    Oh dear.

He's done fuck all of any quality since he left the Smiths though.

it's got that fucking bradbury cunt on it as well.
    fucking hell

  • Christ, there was the latest episode of that BBC Four series on musical scenes, this time it was the turn of 90's indie/Britpop. Predictable oafery from the brothers Gallagher, but the worst hit was Andy Rourke. What a state.

to be fair, brothers gallagher can be pretty funny at times.

did andy rourke even do anything after 1987?
