I enjoyed that final series of Veep (enough to watch it all in one sitting). There were a few bits where it seemed a bit far-fetched but often I thought about them and realised it was pretty similar to something that had actually happened. Making a political satire about the US presidency when Trump is the actual president must be pretty hard work.
Spoiler
I did think the epilogue was a bit unnecessary though, bit too much a desire to tie everything up (although I guess also making very sure that there won't be any further series). -

What we do in the shadows TV series, BBC 2. Adaptation of the film, not convinced yet but only one episode in.

Chernobyl has been excellent
Would second this it’s been heartbreaking, goobsmacking and totally terrifying in equal measure. I found it difficult to watch at points.

A tiny tiny spoiler:- watching the children play in the "snow". As harrowing a scene as imaginable

This should be in the Engineering Thread if there was one. A remarkable documentary and reminder of Britain’s ingenuity and heritage of engineering skill back in the 1960s. I love the lack of health and safety, also the referencing of the ladies shopping in Oxford Circus stores.
Enjoy

My two year old demands countdown at 6am every morning and but for this I'd not have had the strange experience of witnessing Elliot, a teenager, basically a socially awkward human calculator and internet anagram solver absolutely hammering everyone in sight (including dictionary corner. In about 5 episodes I watched he managed to get the highest ever score and, much to Suzie's chagrin, repeatedly beat dictionary corner to the extent her graciousness soon disapated into mild ire. Most amusing was his reaction when his opponent dared to suggest they had a 'bigger word' than him, of course they didn't - either they were saying it for a joke or making up a word in blind hope.
Well worth a catch-up (weirdly)
What you really want is The Wire Runner collab.
