  • I started Goliath last night and really enjoyed the first episode. Billy Bob plays a washed up alcoholic well.

  • Indeed. [click] Not without flaws but very watchable [click click].

  • Stranger Things? Westworld?

  • new Fargo looks good

  • Watched the first two episodes... Good so far.

  • @NurseHolliday
    @WillMelling

Thanks muchly will give them a go.

@croft great shows v watchable but seen both!

Not been captivated by the new Fargo in the same way as I was the last season. think the opening episode was much stronger in S2, don't feel as drawn in this time around

  • stuck latest episode of prison break on phone to watch on the way in. guy dressed like nigel farage at a photo-op sits down next to me, episode starts with what basically looks like a isis training video with subtitles calling for the soldiers to attack the infidels (main characters, no major spoilers there).

that coupled with my mega beard and the bloke looked damn near ready to shit himself with equal parts rage and fear. did lol internally a bit

show is ok. the pacing is still as glacial as ever and some of the lines are more wooden than a fast and furious movie. passed the time though.

11 days! Just finished re-watching the whole thing so all set now.

Now TV sell an 'entertainment pass' which is currently on special offer for £6.99 for two months and gives you Sky Atlantic. Seems like the cheapest legit way of watching it?

  • I thought it was great. Maybe was a bit hammy in the first episode but after that I thought it was one of the best British dramas I've seen.

  • I've started Twin Peaks S1.
I was aware it is batshit crazy but I have no idea what's going on.
    Other than murder.

  • If you want narrative, Lynch ain't your man.

    (It's great though, isn't it?)

  • Well, Blue Velvet always made sense to me, hah.

New Master of None drops tomorrow.

  • The good news is: you will find out who murdered Laura Palmer.

The bad news: that's only the start.

(Not actually bad news if you enjoy it up to discovering whodunnit).

  • There are many paths to enlightenment...

I still think it's the best television programme ever made. It has everything and could legitimately be called art, but that makes it sound cold when it's actually warm, accessible mainstream entertainment.

  • the south park trilogy of episdoes involving coon and friends
they go all marvel comics for these episodes

    mint berry crunch
    mosquito
    tupperware
    timmeh

    absolute class

  • no your a towel

  • S2 of Master of None on Netflix. Time for some feels.

  • Yeahhhhhh! I like he got his own parents to play his parents.

  • Agents of Shield renewed for a 5th season. Which is great news after this excellent twisty deep 4th season.

  • Season three of The Trip is fantastic.

  • Master of none season 2 - all the feels

Mixed feelings about this - it was so perfect when it started and so abysmal when it finished. Maybe they can get George Clooney to reprise his role in it too.

  • Does anyone else watch Inside Number Nine? They are great viginettes. I'd love to see Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton write an episode of Black Mirror.

  • Yes, the one with the shoe had me calling them evil sick bastards at the end.

  • they're great - the silent house robbery episode from season 1 was ace
