Thought the Saturdays EP of Comedy Vehicle was the worst of the season so far. Been decent overall though.

I'm struggling with it, to be honest. I turned off the last episode (I saw) after a couple of minutes. I was pretty sure I could see where he was going with his this-is-offensive-but-this-is-not gag, and it was neither a new, clever, or particularly insightful comment. It just felt like he was trying to play a joke on his audience (having said that, I could be way off and it may have been much more interesting than that. I turned it off quite early).

Eps 1 to 4 have been brilliant IMO, haven't seen the new one. Even when I'm not guffawing I'm rapt, perhaps it helps to like him unquestioningly, which I do, and so the content doesn't have as much work to do.

I thought it was funny when I watched it drunk at 2am on Sunday morning, gf was watching it yesterday and the lolometer was barely registering... Some good moments tho'...

Moral: Stand-up is shit

I don't dig on stand-up, but I like Lee's ongoing deconstruction of it. Well, that's how I see it anyway.

Not sure if you're familir with his material but this is normally the way it goes. I am a fan of his in general, it has to be said.

I didn't know who he was until the first episode of this season. So my familiarity is in the "very low" category.

That Widower three-parter on itv was so creepy, I suppose mainly because it's based on the true crimes of convicted murderer Malcolm Webster.

someone recommend a 'gripping' series of some sort. enjoyed homeland & breaking bad, despised game of thrones.
