see him live if you get the chance - he is pretty scatter gun, but it's real - not everything hits, but when it does he is spot on about so many issues.

I'm amazed really at the current vogue for watching entire seasons of multiple shows that people seem to do - who has the time?!
Sad fucks with no life.
Like those who say they don't rate something yet watch it every day for a fortnight? ^^Yup, that's sad. ;)

He's pretty full on. I thought my threshold for dark jokes was fairly high, but he definitely pushes boundaries.
I've also never seen anyone drink so much with so little effect. He must have had at least 8 bottles of beer and 5-6 jäger bombs during the set. Not sure what he had during the interval.

I need a new box set / tv series to get my teeth into. Please help.
Parameters:
Not breaking bad (seen it)
Not subtitled (I watch TV for monging)
I have Netflix -

I watched the last episode of The Bridge yesterday.
That was a great series but as it's subtitled that's out of the question. What an ending though, such disappointment and lack of closure.
The Wire and The Sopranos would be the obvious choices for a new series to start on?

Sopranos is a good shout. Got about 8 episodes in a year or so ago then lost steam with it due to general busyness. That made be the first port of call.

Warning! If you watch three or four Sopranos episodes back to back your language moderates so you find yourself saying in the sandwich shop:
"Gimme a wholemeal cheese roll with salad and raw onion and Branston, you fat fuck".
