  • only stockists in london are velorution, and they don't have one in their store, central or hackney. Spoke to man in store who said they don't have any. Don't really want to get them to order in a £4k bike so I can have a test ride and a nosey at the welds.

  • Yes! Like that exactly.

  • Finally put some mudguards on the bullitt and a cool pink Dutch lock!

  • Talk to me about the pegs on the rear wheel.

  • Cool, nice Dutch lock!

  • Also can I have pics of bafangs and cable routings pls.

  • For rear passenger sitting on the rack!

  • I'll get some pics but it just goes straight up the head tube with battery mounted on the back of the box

  • Used here on our wedding day!

  • That's lovely.

  • Amazing

  • Quick sanity check;
How quickly do you think a bafang would shred the Alfine 11 hub on my Bullitt?
(I know they're not going to play nicely together just wondering if it'll hold together for a while or if I should just bite the bullet and replace the rear wheel at the same time)

  • 5 weeks, give or take one badly timed gear change.

  • Brutal but honest 😆

  • Who would be able to service an old Dutch
    Style in London?
Bought a very cheap, but somewhat misused, cargo mini, and can’t fit/ carry it into my cellar to work on it!

  • London Green Cycles I'd imagine

  • Flying Dutchman?

  • @William. what did you do with your IGH in the end?

  • Beware, this is my old one. It was worth £450 every day of the week. But from the photos it still has the dented seized seatposr thing I made clear in my original sale… unlike the next two people to sell it.

It still has my bags I made, and a number of other telltale things I did to identify it. Also still has the rear wheel I hand-built, and the front tyre that was end-of-life two years ago.

  • Getting antsy waiting for my UA Family. Could have sworn they said Feb, but just checked the email and they said back end of Feb, would be a dick move to email them now to find out if it's still on track for that.

  • I’d email, No harm in asking

  • While in my head I'm going "JUST TELL ME WHEN IT'S GOING TO ARRIVE!!!!" I don't want to get anywhere near their annoying customer list in case it comes down to picking a favourite for who the potentially limited arrival of stock goes to and when. But, I do also want to stay front of mind for similar reasons.

Can you tell I'm over thinking this?
