  • I think Charlie The Bikemonger would be option 1 for Surly products.

  • Besides: you know any sources for Surly hubs online?

Charlie the Bikemonger. If there's any confusion give Charlie a ring.

    Oh, didn't see that ^

  • All sorted, thanks guys. I bought a DMR.

  • Anyone got a 700c (23-38 - 28-32 ideally) tyre with some life left in it they want to shift for beer/cheap? Forgot a blew the side wall in Berlin and was keeping it in check with a piece of cardboard. Was reminded when I had made it down to Purley on a ride.

  • Have a Marathon Plus... maybe a bit big...

  • Any idea of size? I've got 32s on now.

  • 35.

  • Sweet. I've asked on the ebay thread to see if there's anything else a bit thinner, but what are your plans for the next few days? What do you want for it?

  • Free. Too much?

  • Hmmm. Can you throw in a beer?

What are your movements? Around anywhere this eve?

  • ha

  • Lolz. I'm around. Pick up SE5 8JT, or can meet, but my delivery charges are outrageous.

  • Did someone say Reej?

  • I'm working in the office (not reej office) today, but will be South this evening/later afternoon. Maybe South drinks for pizza and beer? Depends on what you're up to.

  • Or could head to South polo when done work if you'll be heading there.

  • Gotta work deadline at some unknown time so not sure yet....

  • Word. There's always another day. Drop me a text if you're free later.

  • Can someone please recommend a 36h front disc brake wheel, for 700 / 29 ?
An off the peg one, doesnt have to be any of your fancy components, just standard.
One that has a shimano centre lock rotor mount rather than the iso 6 bolts.

My google-fu seems to have left me today.

  • Anyone know of a decent 32h 26" rim? Welded instead of pinned. Doesn't have to be eyleted but I'd prefer it.

Thats only got 24 spokes though, was looking for 36.

  • Even 32 would be alright.

  • Why the preference for the Shimano's system rather than conventional 6 bolt?

  • Because I have five or six of those types of rotors unused at home.

  • Got them for two quid each in a sale.
