LFGSS Jersey (My Little Pony idea)

Me? I'm making this shit up as I go along. I just want a LFGSS black cap with a pony on it and a rainbow set of stripes rather than the championship stripes.

Amazing.. I laughed out some of the chocolate digestive I was eating when I read this.. I would love that cap!

Well I certainly won't be racing, but if I can say I'm going for a drink with my cycling club, instead of I'm going for a drink with some men I met on the internet, then i think it's good.

Yeah, and therefor you wouldnt have to register with anyone or complete loads of forms...
this would suit people who dont race and people who have other clubs.

I suggested this a while ago (http://www.londonfgss.com/thread1464.html), no-one wanted to, since then we have formed Rollapaluza Cycling Club partly to fill the void of forumers who might want to join a club, the majority of our 70 members are from this here forum, we are BC and CTT affiliated as well as having social rides etc and taking part in forum and other stuff, we, of course have our own (slightly more focused) forum and get to wear kit designed by Big Daddy Wayne..

This would be sweet. People have been forming clubs since man first picked up a massive bit of wood and killed his first dinosaur. And people have been taking them far too seriously for nearly as long, if not longer. Some daft but stylish pink jersey and cap combo would look the nuts on the long rides and races etc. If you're brave, or don't gea'fuck, wear them around the city too, instant SPOTTED potential + 100 hitpoints.

It would also be easier to just say "my cycling club" rather than some "umm kind of a forum thing but it also is a real life thing, like a group of dudes etc etc".

LFGSS Pony, a total joke? I think not, taking it far too seriously FTW!

Note: taking it far too seriously includes , lots of talking about how your legs just arnt what they normaly are (while drinking whisky from ones bidon), how of coarse we will win the next race (after having come last and still drinking whisky from ones bidon) but we couldnt due to any number of reasons out of our controle. And most of all, always calling ones water bottle a bidon.

How can you put Rollapaluza above Twickenham CC?

Have the Rollas had the inevitable split yet? If not, then that's why they are above Twickenham.

There'll probably be a Rolla CC and a Paluza CC in due course.
