Yes

I find traditional restraints such as handcuffs, and chinese rope more effective.
Personal preference I guess...

I met a greek doctor once on a train travelling from Istanbul. He lived in America. Curious to know why he left, I asked him. His response was that he hated Greece, and that 'all Greek people are rude, fat and lazy'.
I retold this story during an academic seminar and, in concurring with the Greek American, told my peers that after spending two weeks in Greece they were indeed the rudist people I had met in the whole of Europe. I also said their country as a whole, felt like a third world country - curious when you consider the general prejudices against Eastern Europe it has worse trains, more dirt and a more anarchical feel than Romania or Bulgaria(the former which I loved). I also pointed out that, statistically, they are apparently also the most obese in Europe.
Turns out the tutor was Greek.
Of course he was furious, but why, I thought? And there I realised it - strong reactions occur against things which at the very least contain a modicum of truth. If a comment is made that is so patently false, then it runs of us like water off a ducks back. But if it contains some truth, suddenly we all get very angry.
Thus explaining this thread.

I also apologise Trixie for telling you to fuck off. I just feel youu single me out and try to victimise me which isnt nice.
Annoying or whatever I may be, but I am good sprited and never take anything too seriously, nor do i ever make nasty comments about people in particular - which is the ways things should be.

Paul-Michel I spy you reading this thread, go to your nearest forum drinks and meet some people.
It would appear that you have quite a warped perception of forum users, come and meet some real people. You may be surprised.
Heck I'll even buy you a pint if you make it to Souths on Monday.

You traitor Chris, I thought you were a South East fanboy, I feel betrayed.

I am not very comfortable with 'Trixie' but thank you for the apology. I will not apologise for the HGVs PM but I am sorry for laughing at you for not having noticed that you didn't have quick release wheels.

I really do want to come out for one of the rides. Currently I am trying to abstain from booze. Since I've moved to London I just find I start drinking too much all the time.
I will attend something in April, as I am still in the thick of bullshit assesments. I would love to go out riding with al the peeps, even if some of them wear skinny jeans.

Sorry I always read your name as Trixiebendix, I assume because it looks equilibrious that way. However, its my ADD, you see, I don't notice details like spelling or not having quick release. :)

You just want to be something you're not. Fat chance it's going to happen before the Bridges ride. :)

Just to satisfy your curiousity:
- Reasonably left wing (or at least not a tory voter). I couldn't care less about politics
- Under 30. Yes
- Have been riding for many years (perhaps continuously since children). Since I was 6 every single week apart from 2 years off when my legs got smashed up just before I was 18 and about 10 months off when quit bmxing at the beginning of 2008.
- Majority are not 'settled down'. Yes
- Most of us like interesting music - but specifically not just trendy shit. Define interesting, my music tastes cover a very broad spectrum
- Like to think of themselves as Bohemian. Bohemian hahahahahhahahaha.....no.
8 Perhaps have environmental concerns I do my bit, i'm not some kind of activist or something though, I have a car but I try to minimize my use of it as much as possible.
Is this correct, as a generalisation?
In my case...partially.

Unless they happen to be Greek.
I'd love to lock you and dogsballs in a room together. Fuck it, why not generalise:
- Most forumengers would love to lock Paul-Michel and dogsballs in a room together.
