Goodness, I saw Slint a number of years ago at the Forum. They played Spiderland, which I do like, but they were totally up their own artskool arses and I had to leave, it was painful.

This link seemingly leaked last night and people have gone mental buying at £2.50 a ticket. I've plumped for Sabbath on the Friday but I'll be amazed if they go honouring everything.

Update on that above link, apparently AEG have just said fuck it and are going to honour any tickets purchased.

So yeah, go nuts.

Has anyone received the digital tickets for those £2.50 tickets yet? I've still only had the order confirmation email...

No but the BST twitter page has confirmed that they're valid. Tickets should be delivered by email in a day or two.

Buying gig tickets in general (not just from Scarlet Mist) - how do you know when buying a secondhand e-ticket that it hasn't already been printed off (and sold) 10 times?!

Thought the arcade fires were brilliant yesterday. That bar though, christ it was a joke! Staffed by kids hanging around chatting with no sense of urgency. At all.

They were pretty good as always, I thought they played a better set at Earl's Court last month though.

The bar was hilarious, I recognised one of the staff as someone I interviewed for a temp job a couple of years ago, she was clueless then too.
