^ An indicator that you haven't taken enough drugs. :P

actually there is an enourmous safe bike park in the basement of the car park right next to the maypole, which would be ideal. you'd have to be a complete nonce to try and nick from that place!
Bikes will be fine! My bike has been powdercoated with anti-nonce™ too.

I might be up for this, need to check dates though!

Want to do this... Nocturne was fun last year though... Hmmm... Reason to get the geared bike built a bit quicker.
-
• #65
I'm guessing this is a relatively flat ride? Will be doing it fixed in any event...may swap out the risers though ;-)

It's quite rolling through Essex (not mountainous!). All the hills that are steep are short enough to honk up on a big gear.
-
• #67
^^ haha 'mountainous Essex'! I'll be rolling on around 68 GI so all should be sweet.

It's famous for it's mountains.... and slappers.
-
• #69
Is there a meet time and place for this yet?
-
• #70
It's flat enough. I did it on 79GI last time. Not the best set up, but I managed.
-
• #71
yeah 80GI and some drops ftw
but you'll end up waiting for everyone to catch up, cause you can't go slower than 20+mph on that gearing.
^^ good point, TIME and PLACE? where and when?
-
• #72
9am Hyde Park Corner?
-
• #73
what, at the marble arch?
two of us will be coming from cambridge, so plus minus 20 minutes or so if you could wait up.
-
• #74
Yup, Marble Arch I guess.

I'm going to have to bail on this as I've got to be in Southend that day. Balls.
Leave the bike? You mean lock it up? i think it'll be alright underneath 20 other bikes.
To paraphrase dogsballs: This isn't London, my friend.
