Sorry Nige. I think it's time for alternative, floodlit court for Wednesday nights. Let's just try a couple and see how it goes. Need to know where they are though!!

no worries .. it was fun to get out on the rudge ... not sure about 40 year old coaster brakes though
... so get me up to speed here, the gateshead venue by the river is a synthetic surface, so the only real contender at present seems to be the school basketball court by saltwell park ... and we're sticking to a 6pm start.

I haven't tried any alternative courts, which is why I don't know where any of them are.

All of what Gav said, except the lit court is here. I think Saltwell Park is locked after dark. That one looks great though. Can check both out on Thursday.
