And his stock will grow now that he's ditched that cretinous manager.

^Did you see the backlash when he decreed that Vettel was the 8th best driver of all time? If you haven't done so already the comments section of that article are worth a read, that is of course assuming the BBC moderators haven't gone and deleted them all.

Was Lewis Hamilton's dad down as greatest driver ever? He'd get my vote.
Never serious on a Wednesday.

The F1 team that has the highest ratio of wins to races entered will not be going down the toilet any time soon.
Lewis isn't turning out to be anything, he is a dick end of story.
Why should McLaren not have signed a driver who at the time was the reigning world champion and has always been respected in the paddock for his level temper and ability? Button proved this weekend that if he gets the right car he is a contender.
Mebbe going down the toilet was harsh, but they got rid of a driver that could do it in any car ( see this season) for a driver that NEEDS the rIght car.
I'll bet they dont win a championship with button or di resta.

I'll add to that and say alonso and Hamilton will one each in the same time.

I'll take your money. A lap around brands in the other persons car?

Can't see Ross Brawn Tolerating Hamilton's recent titter antics.

That's a little unfair - I know mine'll make it...

that's a good point, but he put up with schumacher's shenanigans...

Schumacher's antics won titles for him and Ferrari, Hamilton giving away set ups was just stupid and achieved little other than making him look like a petulant, spoiled brat.

Yet again.

I don't believe that Ross Brawn will have it all his own way, as there is a definite paymaster involved. See photos below for a subtle clue.

This, sadly, is very true. It was a cuntish thing to do.

I've just looked at some photos of Norbert Haug, and definitely, from who's with him in the shots, Button and Ron Dennis are also moving to Mercedes...
Either that or McLaren have some sort of relationship with Mercedes which means McLaren team memebers often get photographed with Mercedes personnel...

Mercedes supply the engines to McLaren.
Next year they've actually got to start paying for them.

The trouble with drivers who can drive the wheels off anything, is that generally they aren't very helpful in developing a competetive car (Schumacher is a notable exception), whereas drivers who perform best with a particular setup are usually good at development and testing.
With Honda/Brawn, when they decided to abandon their competetiveness and devote all their resources to developing the next season's car Jenson's experience contributed hugely to that, and even with the compromise of an engine swap after Honda pulled out it became a championship winning car.

Norbert Haug is no fool and would not hire someone with Ross Brawn's experience and track record of winning races and championships only to turn round and tell him what to do.

They're at least a season and another driver away from winning races.
Di Resta has won titles ahead of both Hamilton and Vettel in the lower formulas, he had a 'mare at the last couple of races but is respected as a driver in the paddock.
