Blatant team orders from Rob Smeadley to allow Fernado to pass as he was chucking his toys out of the pram. (He's very important)
Ha Jinx!
He's an arsehole. So much so that most of Spain cannot stand him. He carries on like the petulant child that he is and, of course, Ferrari observe their usual level of "understanding of the rules" (as they did with Schumacher) and the result will probably stand.
Did anyone see the Top Gear report on Senna?

I did.

• #1754
Genius. He had everything that the drivers of today lack.
-
• #1755
Agreed, also he gave a shit about his drivers (see the clip where he risked his life?), and gave money to charity.
-

He was also involved in setting up the GPDA. I've been to Brazil, and there are still pictures and posters of him in Rio. He managed to achieve God-like status there.

Sorry, but I can't agree with all this blowing sunshine up Senna's arse. Yes, he was a gifted driver, definitely one of the best drivers of all time as far as talent goes. However, he was as determined to win at all costs. As bad as Schumacher, though Senna would actually admit to purposefully punting off other competitors to win the championship. Something that Senna fans are very proud of (go figure). As for giving to charity, have you any idea how much money Shumacher has given to charity? Yet he is still seen as the Dick Dasterdly of F1 whereas Senna somehow has this saint status.
It's a funny old sport I guess.
Also, neither Senna nor Schumacher can compare to Clark.

The point is that Senna admitted to punting people off, and was utterly shameless in his admission. Also, with Schumacher, F1 went through a really dull stage where he won in the best possible car by a country mile. Senna didn't always have the best tech available. Therefore he is the better driver.
Schumacher might as well have driven a Renault Espace!
Lastly, Senna would have known to retire gracefully and not have a couple of years off and then try to reaffirm the painfully teutonic grip upon the sport by trying to show the young ones how to do it.

it's ironic how you have to die to become imortal
paper doesn't lie, Shoemaker was the best, i doubt Senna would have broken his record.
Saying that it was amazing to see Senna get out of his car to see if matey was alright.Lastly, Senna would have known to retire gracefully and not have a couple of years off and then try to reaffirm the painfully teutonic grip upon the sport by trying to show the young ones how to do it.
If you enjoy it enough you don't care what the critics say

Schumacher is a bit like a VW Beetle. He'll just keep going - getting slower as the years march on but reliable enough to draw a crowd when necessary.
I met him and I thought he was an arrogant cunt.
Coulthard, Irvine, Eddie Jordan - all diamonds. Schumacher - 18 carat shitbox.

That was in a practice session, it was fairly common for drivers to jump out of their cars to help other drivers if there were no marshalls around.

Awesome name by the way Mr. Jambon (and Mr. Schumacher).

Michael Jordan, Lance Armstrong, and Schumacher have all chosen to 'come back' to their sport, quite possibly expecting to be as, or nearly as, competitive again as they used to be. All still clearly very good, but none of them have, I think, achieved what they set out to achieve with this kind of late comeback.

The guy is doing what he loves, and getting paid a ton of cash for it. Good for him. He's got nothing to prove to anyone, he's 41 and he's still competing with twenty-somethings in a very physical sport, he should be admired for that.

Jordan's a compulsive gambler and was paranoid of the coffers running dry, Armstrong (as he proved yesterday) is Nike's media bitch and Schumacher was bored. I'm glad his car isn't competitive because it makes for decent racing unlike during his era.
