I was surprised by my Hockey helmet actually at how little I noticed it, I don't feel it hinders my view of the game at all.

Great article. Reckon helmets are inevitable with growth/standardization/popularization.
Hurling sounds awesome. Do they have teams/games in London? I want to play.

Try investigating universities. A fair few have Lacrosse or hurling teams, the would most likely know other non uni teams. I've been in the middle of Dublin while a major game was on, pretty fierce fans.

I think you'd be lucky to get a team out of Scotland or Ireland.

There are a good few London hurling teams. Cant remember their names now. There's one in Kilburn, another one somewhere south of Streatham.
They tend to train a bit outside the inner centre. -
