"Oh Shit" moments...

This morning, riding around Broad Lane (Tottenham Hale/Seven Sisters gyratory of doom) I was in the bus lane, someone pootling along on an MTB in front of me, van passes me so I think "Fine, I'll just pop out behind him and overtake the rider in front".

Start my manouvre, glance over my shoulder and MASSIVE RED TRAILER being towed by the van. I rethought my passing strategy sharpish.

*I too do it in the wrong order... but have survived thus far.

I was with you until you said that. So long as you aren't harming anyone, ride what you like, how you like, when you like. Some people will tut about it, some will think you're cool, others might laugh at you, but so long as you can handle it then knock yourself out (figuratively speaking of course).
