I would say you were heading for big trouble.
ah this... :) -

Why is everyone so, scuse the language, bitchy and hostile towards other riders. Chill out.
You'll waste your life hating on others. Besides we are a community whether you realise it or not.
Didn't your initial post (that started all this off) mainly consist of complaining about other cyclists?

sometimes i ride brakeless without clipping in and relying on footjam just because i hate all of you
also because of zen and stuff
there's always a stopless path -

You've just had an oh shit moment yourself there Walter. I would check out the rules about your first 3 posts if I were you.
EDIT: Well, now it looks like I am talking to imaginary newbies.

*"Can you evade the nursery period?
Don't try. Really. It's a public forum which means everyone can see you do it, and if you post 3 meaningless posts in an attempt to sidestep the nursery chances are that someone will report you... when that happens, I will ban that account permanently. You're free to register again, but then you start the nursery again too. So don't try, we're not that dumb and as this is our one piece of moderation it's purposefully harsh, really, don't try."*

Is it THAT HARD to find three things to genuinely comment on in the whole forum? Christ.
-
• #2458
And equally if you are a scammer are you going to draw attention to yourself by posting 3 meaningless posts? If you're that inept you are probably not much of a threat as a scammer. It only really catches out the people who are too naive to worry about anyway.

Surely you should be adjusting your riding to suit the conditions and your surroundings.
This a thousand time.
Brakeless, I hate to says is fine, but riding in a manner that put you at risk isn't, two very big distinction.

riding in a manner that put you at risk isn't
No, it is. Riding in a way that puts OTHER people at risk isn't OK. That's why I think FGS is being a prat. If you are able to ride safely brakeless by all means do, but if you are having frequent collisions, get a fucking brake and stop endangering other people by being so god-damn selfish.

Yeah I might swap out the time atacs left with right to make it harder to unclip but as it is my right foot on one side is already pretty hard to unclip. I couldn't imagine making it harder than as is.
-
• #2464
I'm surprised you can ride a bike at all if your foot is too weak to unclip...
-
• #2465
Yeah, you should do as you stated above, FixedStar. And also, if you're finding it that hard. You should prop yourself up on your bike and lean on a wall or something and just keep unclipping and clipping back in to loosen the springs slightly on your pedals. I did this when I first got mine and that was a year ago, only accidentally unclipped once in that time and that's because I was being an idiot.

I have a mate who actually managed to screw his pedals in the wrong way round after he bought new cranks. I only noticed what he was doing when he said 'they feel a bit stiff'. They were properly cheap shit cranks so they must have been made of cheese. He was happy to unscrew them and put them back in the right way round even though I said it was stupid to do so. Far as I know they are still going.
Now that is an oh shit moment every time you ride...

hating on others.
I was with you until you said that. So long as you aren't harming anyone, ride what you like, how you like, when you like. Some people will tut about it, some will think you're cool, others might laugh at you, but so long as you can handle it then knock yourself out (figuratively speaking of course). But if you ever, ever, use that phrase again I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger (or more probably whinge about it a little on the internet).
This is mumsnet...
right?
