Does anyone here know what happened to Lynchman? Sounds like he got hit by a (convoy of) trucks. Last time I heard from him he was getting psyched up about coming down for the London Classic...

Nasty moment today but reading what happened to lynchman makes this seem very very minor. All the best to lynchman and very very sorry to hear that a fellow cyclist is in a bad state. Riding at a high pace past the old vic in waterloo, green light so didnt slow down at all going through the crossing. a black merc waiting to turn right facing towards me was slowly edging out and I thought 'surely he's not going to turn,' anyway, he did and I got a away lightly by unclipping slamming arm and front wheel on boot and then skidding across the crossing still upright gradually wearing down my cleats till I got to the kerb.
Looked behind and driver had gone, couple if people checked if I was ok, which was kind.

Lessons: keep your wits about you, if I hadn't seen him or suspected he was coming out and in turn slowed down as much as I could when he did, I'd be picking bits of his passenger door window out of myself and would have written off the front end of my bike.

And don't ride through central London fast.

Cycling let alone having a proper shit is probably off the cards for a while, but slowly but steadily I'm crawling back... Let's faced it, like the rest of them you'll soon enough curse the fact that I actually survived; nevertheless thanks for thoughts and kind words, all greatly appreciated :)

So cycling back from velodrome yesterday (had 3 pints of guiness at hingis' birthday drinks) I dont know what happend but next thing I know I wake up in st. george's hospital with 2 teet missing and a bruised face. Last thing I remember is taking earlsfield road and as ambulance ppl told me they picked me up knocked out at swaffield road (200-is meters away from home) a downhill road with horrible speed bumps. Desperately looking for a good dentist (private) to extract the remaining teeth bits if anyone knows someone in SW area (nearer to southside shopping centr the better) Here are some nsfw/not for the light hearted pics;
