Say hello to Peggy. Peggy fell in the bath yesterday evening.

oh dear poor Peggy did you have to fish her out?

I didn't witness the incident but apparently in true cat-magic style she managed to jump straight out before she was fully immersed. I think the bath was still running, so not catastrophically deep, and only her undercarriage and limbs were wetted. I put her by the gas fire and she dried off quite quickly.
Unsurprisingly the affair hasn't dampened her noseyness in the slightest.

ha! yeah cats do have this wierd ability to jump out of water before they've touched the bottom. it's like the physical repulsion is so strong it can overcome gravity.

missmouse: she has nice furry paws :)

^ She is a very pretty cat who squeaks instead of meows.
My mother only got her to get rid of the mice 10 years ago as we were always more dogs people, but we all adore her.
She seems to get more affectionate and playful as she gets older.

Dog gets given a new squeaky duck every 6 months. Dog removes the squeaker within 1 min and gums the treasured empty carcass to death. Repeat.

Our old dog did this. The new dog carries it around like its a baby.

Caleb reminds me a little bit of Tigger.. My Girlfriend's mum took him on after he retired from racing.

Sounds like my mums dog.
She has swallowed numerous squeakers in the past. now she only gets tennis balls. She destroys one every 3 - 4 days. She's 'special' to say the least.

After seeing pictures, realise hipster comment is more likely about dogbag anyway.

For some reason I now call my cat (Higgs) Wiggle, this is concerning me.
Will see what he's like when he comes back, he wasn't too bad - it was mainly paws and a patch on his side - but yes I think scruff of the neck and J-cloth if needed.
