  • our kittens are getting more cat-like every day..

They're much more affectionate now and will often park themselves on our laps :)

The curiosity of noises has seemingly also turned them into meerkats.

  • My dog Truffles.

  • Got a pouch of cat nip from the Cats Protection and it seems to be the hardcore crack of cat nip, 10 seconds and you have one mental kitteh!

  • Higgs has now been hiding under a stool for ~8 hours.

  • I've just been battered on the ankle by my sister's cat. It seems that this is her way of demanding attention. Strange kitteh.

  • Higgs has now been hiding under a stool for ~8 hours.

You may have to build a fuck-off great super collider to see if s/he still exists.. Either that or there's some poison under the stool and s/he is simultaneously alive and dead. In which case, you stole the cat from a bloke called Erwin.

  • I found her again:

  • A dog is for life, just pretend you get them again every christmas...

  • awesome, was it one of those battery insects with lots of rubber feet?

Mia (lakeland terrier) does the same then screws up enough courage to grab it and start flicking it about in the classic terrier toss kind of way.

  • It is and moves by vibrating itself around the floor. When they do get brave and grab or paw it the bug turns itself back upright and carries on terrorising them.

  • i'm getting pics of Duckie's brother sent to me YAY!!! I called him Nono, now much loved member of the Joe S clan and named Eddie - I've not seen him in 9 months very exciting. He was / is (i am sure) such an amazing little dude. Can't wait!

  • I thought I'd post a couple of snaps of Eddie here. I got him from Jacqui in March last year. He was one of two little boys born to a stray mum that Jacqui had taken in to look after. He is AWESOME.

    3 pics (L to R):

    1. A really quite pretty boy
    2. Who likes climbing and doesn't care much for getting down
    3. But don't mess, or Laser Cat gets angry....

  • He's lovely! How's he taking to hearing about Duckie's escapades? Has he a yearning to go on a boat?

  • So i rescued a young ginger tom from our garage roof today who i found meowing madly when i got home, he dashed in the house when i opened the door, i put him back out again and thought he'd found his way back home, when i heard him meowing at the back door again when Mike got home about 4 hours later. I was a bit worried about him, but he's obviously not stray, he has a collar (no id) and is in good condition. We've put a cardboard box outside the back door with a hot water bottle wrapped in blankets inside and a bowl of water (but no food - I realise if I feed him he will keep coming back)

I think he's a bit lost, if he's still around tomorrow I think I will knock on a few doors on our street to see if they are missing a cat, I don't think he's come far. Of course I would love to keep him - but I can't help thinking there's someone worried about him somewhere.

It doesn't help that he is exceptionally cute and just purrs loudly when i pick him up.

    Any advice?

  • Advice...post photos of him so we can all enjoy the cuteness!

  • if he stayes at the back door shmewwwing ,i would bring him in, check he aint flea ridden 1st! make him a little box home, give him a bowl of water.
then do the asking tomorrow morn, even take him to local vets to see if he has a chip.

  • It is and moves by vibrating itself around the floor. When they do get brave and grab or paw it the bug turns itself back upright and carries on terrorising them.

That's hilarious. I want one. What is it?

  • Well he went to sleep on top of the box outside for the night and I found him there this morning cleaning himself, he's now started meowing again. He's clearly not going anywhere.
Going to ring the local vet and find out how much scanning him for a chip will cose.
Then once the post has come I'm going to knock on a few doors in the next road as that's where I think he came from.
He's amazingly affectionate and has clearly been looked after - so hopefully I will find the worried parent

    On and for scoot..

Another question..how long do I leave it before feeding him, I'm holding off as long as I can - but if I can't find his owner today should I feed him tonight?

  • Take him to the local tube and see if he has any credit on him!

More relevant to the thread here are two bike loving kittens we have:

    Mini

    Cooper
