I was in two minds about whether to come on Saturday. Definitely in now.
And sticking around for the working party, obvs.

• #2504
could you expand on this? how do you mean chain gang style session?
danke
Through and off, group riding.
Not beng rude, (and this goes for anyone else who isn't sure) but if you don't have experience of this, you might want to wait until spring for the track sessions, or find a friendly cycling club, go on some club runs and learn about how to ride in a bunch.
-
• #2505
So a proper club, rather than one of these johnny come lately types.
-
• #2506
Although friendly and proper clubs can be unhappy bedfellows.

Just FYI, the winter Saturday sessions are a steady 1.5 hr chain gang style session for intermediate and advanced riders. It's not going to be a carbon copy of the summer intermediate sessions.
This pleases me. I had hoped that there might be a chain gang this winter, beats getting covered with shite on the roads.

A BC registered one, with insurance and a proper kit, with colours that don't get changed every three months.
None of this weak willed 'bunch of mates who liked riding and drinking together' bullshit, join a fixie forum if you want that shit

The Sunday crew are doing steady laps of Richmond 0900-1200 most Sundays too.

They are! Rob must have missed the memo, this Sunday the crew meeting at Geoffrey Butlers in Croydon at 9:30 for some Surrey lanes action.

Just seen it. Though neither you or I will be there lol omg wtf.
I'm going to do whatever BMMF hates the most, then post on here saying how 'epic' and 'awesome' it was.
-
• #2513
You're going to do yourself then? I doubt it'll be 'epic' or 'awesome'.
-
• #2514
I'll let you know
-
• #2515
I'm waiting. Don't try telling me it lasted this long.
-
• #2516
It's not Sunday yet!
-
• #2517
The days all blur into one during half-term. It's like being on the dole.
-
• #2518
annoyed I didn't make it to intermediates before winter. I'll be back next year.
-
• #2519
I only managed to make it once this year, to one youth session, it was soo fun!
-
• #2520
How many people went for the Saturday chain gang / laps last week? I'm keen but it'll definitely be more fun with 10+.
-
• #2521
I'm still injured, but should make next week I think
-
• #2522
I went last week. May go tomorrow. There must have been about 20 in the quickest group (which I think was purposefully on the steady side of average for intermediates, in my limited experience).
Don't like the look of the forecast though.
-
• #2523
Oh, that sounds decent. You're right about the forecast though, nightmare.

Hey guys, just a reminder about how the Sat sessions are running. RPM hit the nail on the head!
Through and off, group riding.

...only thing I would add is wear some decent kit. Jeans and cardigans are for going to the movies :)

But is it happening tomorrow? No-one with keys turned up last week. No criticism, I know you're volunteers.
This?
