Good to see Winston's doppelganger too... I think it was Corny (or maybe Wayne) that said something like 'Look, Winston's doing an induction?!?', and then you rocked up beside us... I did a total comedy double-take... Bit wider in the hips but the face was a dead ringer... ;]

All the haterz moaning about it being 'too busy' should be grateful that people are turning up to use the facility and it isn't at risk of closing down next week!
the turn out isn't directly proportional to the long-term future of the track at the moment, there are controlling factors outside the level of participation unfortunately.
too busy means people are getting turned away from induction and asked to return the following week, they may not bother, or the weather might turn.. which is why more coaches have volunteered so that a Sunday session can be planned.
will keep you informed.

Any idea how many of us will be at Newport tomorrow Rob? I am bringing my mate Simon, who bought Guys old frame off him. Should be fun
I have no idea how many will be there..
if it's similar to last time, about 20-30

^ was eyeing up those DA SPD-R you saw in OYB; they were desparate to sell 'em and they have a load of cleats too.
And the £35 Wiggle road shoes fit them too... hmmmm

the dhb shoes look good but not available in my size!

It's not just winston's influence, my shimano/look combo has always been secure, but never very comfortable

Apparently Tessa Jowell was there too.
It's on pp13 of the Sunday Indy.
Also a pic of some of the other riders.
They called her bike "a drop handled racer" but don't actually show her riding it. -

I was down there yesterday, so I presume I must have seen/trained with some of you. I remember some guy talking about picking up his new Pink bike, so that must have been Cliveo. Did my induction and trained in the easy, then medium group.
Fully addicted! -

Guy in suit with my belly, with the MP, rode around the track on a Pinnacle and had his photo taken with kids...
