Simplicity and tones are v nice. Then...
How is that a snowflake? Moar turned square.
Why not Plantagenet FFS? Tudor.
Reminds me of telecom brand Wind.

I'm sad I never bought an ex-Navy Submariner when I had the chance, they used to be well cheap secondhand*...

Really?
The Tudors nice 'n all but it's really nothing that special. Maybe I'm missing something but to me it just looks like a nice steel diver that has some sharper finished edges compared to the thousands of other stainless steel divers you see around.
The main appeal imo is that it's sort of Rolex quality at a relatively affordable price. Other than that I'm not sure I see a great deal of difference from that Steinhart you just sold. You sure it's not just a grass is greener thing.
Just my 2p obviously.
I can see where you are coming from. It just ticks all the boxes for me though. I love the matte finish, the shape of the bezel and the face. The spring loaded clasp is also pretty cool and a nice touch. I like the profile and overall size too.
Will I be rushing out to spend £2.5k on it? More likely than spend £6k on a Sub anyway.

Both bezels are too big in comparison to the dials IMO
Also Skywatch font for the 15,30,45 can >>>

Did also consider this, but out of my price range...
And dial + bezel are too busy IMO....

Speaking of Seiko Solar I'm pondering one of these http://www.creationwatches.com/products/seiko-divers-60/seiko-solar-divers-sne109p1-sne109-sne109p-mens-watch-2874.html to replace my Orange Monster. I don't wear it that often so I wouldn't mind replacing it with something that I could just pick up and will be at the right time.
Has anyone seen them in the flesh and any idea how they compare looks/sizewize?
Really?
