Who said I * wanted* a fake seiko ffs... I cancelled the bid because I thought it was fake. I noticed it's coming from Manila. But now it's done I don't mind as long as it works.

They like the watch equivalent of a specialized.

Alsal watches would get my vote, they normally seem to be able to help with the basics and are a safe pair of hands.

Does anybody have any recommendations for a service to replace crystals? I'd like to replace the crystal in the Seiko that I dropped yesterday, have a 1960s childrens watch of unknown make that I'd like to fit a new crystal to and was thinking about getting a domed crystal fitted to my Helson Sharkdiver if possible.

Need use of a watch press, I'm In SE, who can help?

rubber and nylon straps are great when you sweat a lot while cycling.

Thought I'd take a side by side lume shot next to my Monster. Can't believe how bright it is.

I'm fairly sure I'm glad I didn't go for a 45mm but have a nagging doubt in the back of my mind...its a shame that there is nowhere you can go and try a Helson on.

My friend has a breitling that needs a new bezel and glass. Other than going to a general shop and getting them to send it off is there anywhere that he could have it fixed for less?

I think you're missing something. He's just a* jorno with enough knowledge about watches to write a column on them. He then writes in the style of the column, probably as prescribed by the editor.

The column's/his schick is being a condescending snob about a product which people are often quite snobbing about.
