Congrats @ejay2.0 hope the GS sales go well. Not sure if it's your thing but I bought a big job lot of jewellery coffee table books because there were a couple of watch ones but now have something like 30 left which are going for free. Faberge, Harry Winston, Cartier, Van Cleef etc
Who else was the resident jeweller... @magpie ? Or anyone else if they're interested.

It seems there's been an issue with the Baltic shipment as the customs is asking me to pay £106 on a €545 watch?
Which is 19%?
Damn Brexit.
Anyone had a Baltic watch shipped before and a had similar issue?

Ploprof for the 75th Omega shenanigans.
Absolute lotto win first purchase would be a Plop. (Maybe not this one, mind)

I love that world time and tried it on a few years back when they first back out, but a bit too bling for me and case is super thick.. that sea-master 300 with the lollipop would be my choice ..

I'd say
Ploprof
Seamaster 300
Aqua terra
Planet ocean
Bond seamaster
Ultra deep*
Small aqua terra
Worldtimer (never liked it)*Just because its too thick

Was there one on Nardi ?

Oh and 100% that ploprof, all day long. The dial is insane.
-
• #72837
I like it too

More than a hint of Seiko in those Omega dials, although Omega have done them more subtly than the usual Prospex special editions. The resized (smaller) Ploprof is definitely a winner, but the 300M is also good and I think the Planet Ocean is quite nice too, apart from the rather dated end links.

Oh hai! Yes other resident jeweller here. Would definitely be interested in a few books if they’re going spare? I’ll PM you.

The amount of care in the presentation and packaging is outstanding.

I'm really surprised at the quality of the watch, bracelet, box and opening experience compared to more established brands.

What next? Red tyres?

Red tyres are a thing of the past.
Rainbow ones should be real. -
