Loving the GS content @Retro_Bastard definitely quality dial and case finishing. I really like the new spring drives, without the power reserve indicator, just not the price.

Love the new speedmaster. Aren't the the spring drives similar money to yours ? See a couple of deep breaths and some nice watches to look at and everyone is starting to feel better already 😁

The 55th Anniversary spring drives without the indicator are nearer £8k, nearly twice what I paid. I'd be happy with any GS, mech, quartz or spring, photos do not do the dials justice. My friend now has a snowflake, it looks exceptional (minus the indicator).

And if I'm biased against the Chinese, why would I keep buying their watches?

The snowflake dial is stunning and probably the nicest I've seen from any maker for more of a dress watch and GS do this blue water effect now which is lovely. I'm going with a quartz as my introduction to these but the plan is to chop in every couple of years add 1-2k and upgrade every time remaining a one nice watch guy rather than a collector

Being at the budget end of the spectrum, I've been looking at quartz GS and am very taken with the SBGT241.

Anniversary piece to celebrate the 9F movement, but what immediately struck me was how uncluttered the dial looked with just the single star at the bottom.

Annoyingly my searching revealed one that recently sold local to me.

Be thankful that we're not having this discussion face to face. It would get very ugly.

Those so-called Tiffany blue OP got me sniffing around for something in a similar vein.

This Presage is rather nice, even if the dial is a much more muted blue, it looks to have a speckled finish which could be nice in the flesh.

US exclusive though...
