Hactually.
I don't mind that one.
Reminds me of a warhammer titan carapace pattern I tried to produce in my yout.
That or some aching granite? paving round Town Hall. 😎

Blargh that date window why why why
(we know why but why!)

One step forward, two steps back for those. Yeah, it's thinner than the previous one, which it needed to be, but it's less interesting not being a front loader and less of an homage to the original. And of course the rotate-a-date rules it out of contention before it's even started.
The straps look cheap too. It has the X logo which is out of place at this price point (however much they want to be able to sell £4k+ Prospex watches). And yes, the price is a joke. Higher than a number of Grand Seikos, it's totally unjustifiable.

This seems worse, like it was misplaced

They look fantastic, but unless you want to drop that much on an everyday piece, I would go vintage all day long.. You could get a reasonable Ed White for the same amount, which would probably be an appreciating asset... Have no idea how this new version will fare in the secondary market, but most new Omega's, with a few limited exceptions don't appreciate in value for the 1st owner...

You probably won't want a Sorna World Timer either, which is a shame, 'cos it's £180 new and has THREE rotating bezels.

@ejay2.0 is it the design ? Straight vs twisted etc, or just the whole thing about this piece..?
@Regal yes it’s for speedy (&wealthy) enthusiasts.. Still, the 321 was considered as a high end column wheel chronograph for years no ?
Finally received my JB200 today, quite happy with it..

Quality, reliable, well-designed for sure, but what I mean is that it was always a tool watch movement. The rebirth of it as something that is made end-to-end by a single watchmaker in small quantities and held up on a pedestal just feels a bit odd to me.
To be clear, I'd wear one, I think they nailed pretty much every detail on it.

I don't mind the date much to my surprise, it look cleaner than I expected, just 4 grand is way way too much for a 1k watch.

That's a bit harsh… 1.5k maybe

Decimal point needs to move to the left.

Ceramic bezel, case size , cost . Overall concept seems a bit ......unnecessary.

It might look like a three-figure Prospex diver but it still has an 8L35 in it, whether that means anything to you or not.

Looks bigger in the picture for sure, very nice indeed.
Reminds me about the Rolex of my dad that he, unfortunately, completely destroyed as he forgot the screw down the crown before taking a dip the sea….

About as classic as it gets… lovely.

Thank you. Still not sure if I can live with how fragile it is, but it sure looks sweet.

Sometimes I think I might get over the tool watches and have one of these instead.

Tell them they need to sack the people who design the dials and the hands.
I like it, just not the price (SLA057J1 and blue SLA055J1)
