Is flight spec.
Pilots can see through so many degrees of revolution. Liek 6?
Was also in said Burlington arcade astounded at the 1/4 scale Aston Martin and Champagne Bars on tap.
With homeless strewn around the corner.

This is an odd mechanical watch I inherited.
Very light, keeps excellent time, not unattractive. The case feels like it's made of very cheap metal, and hasn't been finished well.

Cross posted from the running thread:
Does anybody here have a Fenix 6 sapphire? I've had a Fenix 5 with mineral glass for years and it has been great in terms of durability but I wanted to know whether screen legibility/clarity is improved with sapphire (as it sometimes is compared to cheaper mineral glass on other watches).
I.e wouldn't bother with it for durability, but might pay the extra for a little bit of extra screen pop.

I’ve got a fenix 5s with sapphire glass if that’s any help? Not sure how to compare the two though

Has anyone got a watch gecko or militat SKX solid link bracelet in used they would sell? I'm reluctant to fork out for a brand new one in fear that it may make the watch look too shinny/new. There is nothing to be had on eBay atm.
Edit* Uncle Seiko would do too

Bracelets get more knocks and wear than the watch so it won't take long to even out.

What’s everyone opinion about the latest Speedmaster with 321 re issue mouvement..?
Size seems great, straight lugs, etc etcMaybe @ejay2.0 can’t tell us a bit more ?
Have to admit I’ve been looking at Moonwatch recently, but hard to get all the nuances between OG 321 caliber, 861 version, reedition, special edition..
Tried on a friend of mine saphir sandwich speedy (3861) the other day, and quite loved the proportion..

I see it as a deluxe reissue speedy… one for the nerds (in a good way). I’m still not sure about the ceramic bezel, I think might change the look quite a lot IRL, but case, bracelet, dial etc are excellent. Also not sure about them turning the 321 into some kind of pseudo-fine watchmaking exercise but it means it has exclusivity that goes some way to justifying the price.

I appreciate that, i would just prefer a used one. The watch is from the early 2000's and the bezel has some nice patina to it, but if i can't find one then i'll buy new. The original Seiko strap is fine on the wrist but the cheapness really hits home when taking it off and on.

Picked this up on black Friday from Jura Watches. Got a good deal, £570 and next day delivery. First watch purchase in 3 years.

Funnily enough i'm not a big fan.

That's a beaut.
Why do companies stick with renders that always make watches look shit? -
• #59793
Because they want people to buy stuff from physical stores.

I think these 38mm Alpinists are great. I like the case, I like the hands, I like the date window surround, I think they're a no brainer at the price. That dial really pops too!
There's a boutique exclusive one coming as well that looks very nice:

Actually, thats useful in itself. Just realised that Mrs Hedge's 5s might have sapphire. Thanks!

Mystic Forest get a chuckle from me.

Wow love the dial. That prospex logo really grates though

It’ll say ‘sapphire crystal’ on the back if it is.
Damn, this thread is busy lately… love it! How do people keep up to date with more than a couple of threads is beyond me… I need more time in the day.
Anyway, just got this charming, little thing… not sure if it’s for me, but it sure looks good.
