  • New strap also!

    Tyres need pumping.

  • That’s really good. How big is it?

Cheers, bought last year as a treat for 1yr no drinking. Will have to treat myself again on 1st Jan.

It's 43mm - Short lugs means it wears quite well though

  • Nice watches all round this week.

  • Back on the MN.

  • I'm going to ruin it with some 90s tat.. four separate typefaces on the face (I think)..

    Edit.. I think six!

  • None of them are Arial, so I'll allow it.

  • Forgot to add my cooing over the new GS.. lovely!

  • Like this a lot!

  • That citizen is a tough one to beat

  • So, speedys- Fois, 1861 or new 3861

  • I now have a liking for a Doxa Sub 300T in orange.

  • Is it the Neo B? Looks nicer in your pic than their website!

Great strap combo too - I’m wondering if grey suede is the missing ingredient to my farer lander…

  • Good choice then!

  • All three are good obvs, but it depends what you’re looking for.

All IMHO… FOIS is the most vintage looking despite the sapphire crystal and for me has the nicest (and sharpest) case. The 3861 has the chunkiest looking case but also has a ton of depth to the dial that the previous 1861 didn’t. 3861 also has the best bracelet, though it seems a lot of people don’t like the look of it. FOIS wears a little smaller than the others. 3861 is the best movement technically but for some it’s a departure from the classic moonwatch.

Try them all on if you can, you cannot tell the difference from internet pics but they are surprisingly different from each other (and from a vintage tritium speedy) in person.

  • Michael Kors be liek....

  • Thanks 👍

  • Try to see one in the flesh. I absolutely love the 300, the 300T did nothing for me. Too chunky and not as funky.

  • I agree with @Regal, however personally I think hesalite is the only crystal to have on that watch. I’ve seen some people replacing the sapphire on the FOIS, but for me the 1861 is the nicest. The new one is too modern for me and the FOIS… I don’t know, just didn’t keep it. I would also encourage you to look at the broad arrow… I think it looks pretty sweet.

  • *still didn’t keep any of them by the way 😂 I’m speedy free now

  • Michael Kors be liek....

Are you telling me AP couldn't colour match the date window?!

I mean above and beyond the obv

  • I actually thought “nice rip off” from MK and then zoomed in. It’s actually AP! Wow

  • I will have to, the 300 is way more money (despite being COSC), the 300T appear to be slightly more modern with a more appropriate flat crystal.

I’ll find out which shop sell them in London.

  • The 300T is 1200m WR resistant and has the HE valve. Thicker, larger case, flat crystal, different clasp, bigger dial… the 300 can sometimes be found on eBay for a good price.

  • I like the classical look of the 300, I can’t afford to buy it outright, only on finances.

Will have a look, 300 sound more ideas than 300T for everyday wear.

  • Watches of Switzerland carry Doxa.
