Does it have WearOS?
-
• #55054
Haha no! Don't think Casio were that forward thinking...

This I know, especially 10 years ago.
Point is this is the first G-Shock to use Wear.
The Pro-Treks have used it for a while but wasn't fussed.

I wouldn't trust google with keeping a service running..

Neither would I unless it's pure data acquisition...

Railmaster doing its job. Stood above a 25Kv transformer, that's the supply cable in red, 6500hp at 125mph.
Bit of a different day. -

Got the dreaded call from watchmaker today.
Little seiko has packed it. Literally as it's full of glass splinters and dust that can't be blown out.
Needs a full movement transplant. :(
Anyone got a lead for a good price seiko automatic movement, I don't recall the name, the one above 7s26, with hacking seconds? I'm in DK.
Thanks -

Sour news.
Guess the movement will be a 4R36?
(NH36 is the non-seiko branded, but still seiko made version, might be easier to source)Donor watch on ebay?

Consider speaking to another watchmaker too. It might just be that the one you spoke to didn't think it was worth you paying for their time to do it. Ultimately all it needs is a full service...

I bought a Seiko SRPE53 (the blue dress KX). It's a nice watch but not singing to me for some reason. It was pre-owned - but bracelet completely unworn and still stickered, and only marks on the watch a couple of v minor strap change marks on underside of lugs from prev owner. Otherwise perfect condition and box and papers etc. I bought for around £135 and looking to sell on for similar - so £130 plus postage if anyone on here interested.
EDIT - I double checked and I bought it for £130, so for sale for £125 plus postage

Garmin? Looking to get the Strava mileage up on a Intercity 125 then? 😂
G-Shock now working with Wear OS.
GSW-1000-1ER
I love G-Shock and use Wear OS. Win.
It's all black with negative display. Win.
Strap sucks. Nah.

£600 is a lot of money for a watch than can loose functionality.
Hmm...
