@AWu-Tang looks funky with that strap, love it!
@edscoble that unfortunately sounds about right... if you’re not super active (aka keeping the power reserve topped up most of the time) the watch is not that accurate.
I walk around 10-15kms per day and I get around +1s per day from my SPB187 (my SPB143 was exactly the same). If I don’t wear it for a day and keep it dial up, it can easily gain 30s in 24h. So yeah... not great, but it is what it is.Edit: oh and it’s Friday, right?

Maybe, I’ll see what I can, it’s still under warranty and I suspect being in a labour-intensive jobs doesn’t help (which is why I got the Seiko).

Moving my hand almost constantly in the workshop count, right?
You’d think the 70 hours power reserve would suffice!

Yeah, most watches will gain time dial up and lose time crown up because the adjustment splits the difference between the horizontal and vertical states of the balance. 30sec is an awful lot in one day for a 6R though. Have I always just been incredibly lucky with my Seikos?

@ChainBreaker you’ve changed. 40mm when there is a 42 and a 45mm available!?
Inspired me to put the bronze back on though.

I really wanted that brushed turquoise dial. You can't get it on the larger sizes. But Helson is a chunkier watch so it wears larger I feel anyway. I don't feel like I'm cheating on the big dial club.
Inspired me to put the bronze back on though.
Also, mine is brass and not bronze, which is a nice bonus. It's different. But I defo into bronze watches now.

Thank you.
Bought the watch from off here as it's the same/similar model to one I remember my grandpa wore for years.
