Love the AE-1200WH, looks good well used. They are still under thirty quid RRP and can be found for less than that, eg https://www.hillierjewellers.co.uk/gents-quartz-watch-ae-1200wh-1avef-p3781/s5520

Clearing stuff out and came across my Animal titanium 031, I knew I hadn't thrown it out! Animal stopped making the (disintegrating) rubber strap and the funny lugs mean most other straps just look odd. I thought I could maybe get a Stanley blade and shape another strap to fit, or does anyone happen to have an MBUK velcro strap?

That is, by some distance, the fanciest Animal watch I’ve ever seen.

Great discussion on the second track and how manufacturers sometimes miss things.

I dunno if Animal ever meant to do fancy but it is a damn cool watch.
Probably why I still have a thing for titanium watches

I think I have one with titanium bracelet, I remember it being eye watering expensive to my 15 years old self!

Try putting it on a pickled egg when you photograph it?

No doubt about the watche itself, but not sure if I enjoy it more than a 40mm watche..
And not sure if I prefer ceramic insert over aluminum insert..

Probably Golf Thread TBH.

A friend of mine managed to get one quite early on, and even though he’s a very tall guy who hates small watches, he sold it and went back to a regular black ceramic Sub.

If you got both a side by side would be great. In my mind I think the maxi case is huge but then the 43 sensible... I dunno why but the in my head the maxi is HUGE
Can't be much older actually. They were released in March 2013 and I bought this one on eBay in October 2013. Must have been flipped...
