  • Really great addition bro, can’t wait to see some of these IRL.

@spudger loving that too, dressier watches are under represented on here!

Like @hugo7 I’ve been gardening with child which takes double the time/stress/danger. 🐢

  • People zig with the grey suede. I'm going to zag and say cognac leather strap.

  • I freely admit the brown strap options suit the teal dial really well, like this one. I just don’t wear brown leather. Maybe I need to get over myself and try it sometime. Still, I have a grey Two Stitch on the way for it now, and the black calf in the meantime.

    A man's gotta have standards

  • Biver doing a Hublot on them with the Defy? Or maybe the AP problem of people thinking they’re a one watch brand (the El Primero in Zenith’s case). They do some nice stuff.

  • 😂

  • Lume doesn’t work... definitely fake.

  • Thats really nice, but the minute hand looks like this to me.

  • A bit late but it took me ages to size this Forstner bracelet. Nicely made but the penultimate links (fitting onto the end links) aren’t even - one sticks. Possibly user error.

  • I think it’s a known thing with the Forstner.

    https://www.fratellowatches.com/tbt-46-forstner-vs-uncle-seiko-flat-link-for-the-speedmaster/

Where the Forstner also improves over the inspiration is the solid end-links. It may be a tight fit, requiring more patience, but once connected, it says firmly fixed in place. But a downfall is that the links immediately after the ends tend to fold over and get stuck. This is down to the shaping and machining and is an improvement I would strongly endorse for version 2.0 of the flat-link. It’s not a problem when the watch is on the wrist. But when placing in a watch box or before strapping it on, some effort is required to unfold these links, and I can imagine would start to show unsightly scratch marks on the end-links.

  • My Speedmaster remains my favourite watch (of those I own), the rally strap with deployant (sp?) clasp is, for me, far better suited to it than the metal bracelet which it came with.

  • I have to agree.

    Obligatory pic required!

  • If yo Sub had an association wid a 2Oth Century pop character also meebies would have been trickier.

Omega by association have done one over on Rolex there.

  • Yes, not a fan of the Omega bracelet but this is a nice option - less dressy than the croc strap it came with.

  • That said the market had created the characters for Rolex.

via Batman, the Hulk and alternate Coca Cola. 😎

  • Still COSC.

  • Lazy Sunday? Bored? 45 mins free - have a look at Million Pound Pawn on itv. Couple of nice watches on it - PP and a Rolex.

  • That fake Daytona / gold fake rolex though…

  • Ha. That must be the second episode! Have it got there yet! 🤬

  • Sorry. It was on this week and that part was repeated on gogglebox. Assumed it was fair game.

  • No probs!😁

  • Googlebox u say...

  • Have been wearing my Sharkdiver 40 all weekend. First time in years. Still love it.

I bought it second hand in 2013 and as it's number 42 I suspect it's quite a bit older than that. It has been a very low maintenance watch. Still keeps good time....not so much as a whiff of regulation needed.
