  • Agree that Longines do nice looking stuff.

However the fauxtina on the (IMO overpriced) skin diver above is just shocking. Looks terrible IMO.

And @sumo - I can't remember how many your wrists are but the lug to lug of a Heritage Diver is huge, so be wary if ordering online.

  • The mesh bracelet really work on that.

  • Yeah I've been reading that, trying to compare it to measurements of the Alpina I had that was pretty big. I always have to shorten watch bracelets quite a bit so thougth I had relatively skinny wrists but just measured and it's 7'' so maybe it would be fine. I'm leaning towards the 36mm Longines anyway, I think it would fit the vintage look a little more too.

    From some guy on Reddit:

  • Has bare feet. Clearly related to a certain member of this thread.

  • I may have said fuck it and ordered the 42mm version cos it's easier to find significantly cheaper.

  • Internal bezel is aces. Love the way it moves. In other news... Ordered wrong bat. šŸ˜Ž

  • Not a fan. Don't like the colour combo, would also ditch the strap. Prefer the classic silver sunburst Top Time.

  • Sub dial is wayyy to close to the centre of the hands for me. I know this is a movement restraint but balance isn't there.

  • Great stuff! Look forward to the NWD pic!

  • Yep, and I think it must have been such a common complaint that almost all the subsequent Heritage models in that style have been smaller. The sub seconds looks fine on the other, smaller, models that have it.

  • I may have said fuck it and ordered the 42mm version

Good effort Sumo!! Cant wait to see it.

  • Grats - FWIW despite preferring 36-40mm watches Iā€™d much rather have a 42mm diver than a 36mm one, personally. 36 starts to look quite small when you factor a divers bezel in (or a tachy bezel for that matter).

  • Good work. I think it'll really suit you.

  • That was quick

  • That looks great. Probably my favourite Casioak so far. Wish it was solar, but still very tempted.

Edit: sold out everywhere, good, good.

  • that is cool

  • That look oddly more readable as the clear resin make it easier to focus on the face.

  • What do we have here

  • My issue with the Casioak that I have is it just isn't that easy to tell the time at a glance. It's style over substance which seems to go against the G-shock style.

  • It's actually the perfect size for my wrist, really pleased with it. The box is came in is huge, 23cm x 23cm x 16cm and weighs over a kg.

  • That's lovely. Congrats.

  • ALREADY?! Did you not pay for that yeterday?!

    Wrist shot!

  • Yeah I know, free postage too.

  • Oh I like that. Nice.
