  • Wolf had 70% off the other day - code EARLYBIRD I think. Not sure if it’s still on.

  • Who needs a watch winder anyway?

  • I don't need one, but I think I'd quite like one.

  • Maybe a watch display stand thingy could be an idea as well?

  • I've got one that @freddo kindly gave me for free with a watch purchase that i don't use and would happily give you for the postage price. I'm in York so it's unlikely you could collect. Pm me if interested.

  • Over budget, but you might need storage for 12 watches soon enough

  • I have a £25 watch winder that I picked up from Amazon. It winds fine but it looks like it's a £25 watch winder.

  • NATO from blushark .
They seem good to me , they always have a buy 3 get 2 free with free international postage .
It’s easy to get a few mates together buy five and split it .
    Decent hardware too

  • My SARB033 has lost 15 mins over the past week or so. That’s quite a drift from being within a few seconds a day when I got it in 2018.

Does that sound like something that can be adjusted easily?

  • Yeah, possible. Is that bad?

  • I’ve never had that problem, but I don’t think it’s serious. There are some cheap devices online that can demagnetise the watch.
I’m sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon :-)

  • Any recommendations for a made in Europe/UK watch roll case?

  • Being indecisive as always. New watch arrival this morning! Always been a fan of the Aqua Terra and thought this was a little different. It was ex-display from my local AD, great price, but does have a small dent in the side / lug. Always brought new and its kind of bugging me as I didn't put it there but then it was way cheaper than a new one so I guess thats why. Be interested to see how much the bracelet costs to add on.

  • But that is 62mas heritage yo...

  • Not really, the 62MAS never had a bracelet… it was a skin diver style case, always came with a rubber strap. I don't think it was until the SLA017 and SPB051 in 2017 that Seiko tried to put a bracelet on that case shape. It doesn't really work. Same goes for the 44GS case IMHO.

  • You get used to it

For a moment i thought you were asking for a recommendation on which one of the watches to choose.

I was like... fuck me baller!

  • LOL

    Its a great watch!

  • Speaking o which, hows your railmaster @Dammit ?

    I really like yours.

  • It's good, I've been wearing it the last few days and it's a funny watch - in some lights it's extremely handsome, in others the colour of the lume does strike me as just slightly jarring.

I can't help but contrast it with my Seamaster and the Speedmaster, both of which I like everything about, all the time. But it's still a very nice watch.

  • I've been wearing it the last few days

    pic or it didnt happen...

  • I think magnetised watches generally* run fast so probably not that.

*in my very limited experience and reading.

@D-Dog classy, I wouldn’t see the ding once I’d added a few of my own.
