Good choice. Not much change out of £7k
Seen a guy I know in watch trade he will swop some of the above for an IWC so no money changing hands, then the insurance will cover one watch as it is itemised stupid I know, plus my watch winder broke and I imported it so can't get it repaired.
And on top of that the Bell&Ross just cost £200 for a service. -

Oh, I thought you were creating a new line of straps from fur.
I had no idea you had the dribblies. Still, some rehydration salts and you'll be fine.

Loved that Bell&Ross, but damn it's expensive.
I suppose it's a good thing to want something you can't have...

here is a sample of the coloured skins available. most of the skins shown only have enough for one adult strap to be made. plain leather is also available.
here is a strap that was made to show the workmanship. any width or colour combination is possible.
her name is sheena hamson and you can email her to arrange a time to choose leather and discuss requirements.

That IWC is pretty special. Is it yours...?

no i just like the look of it. i was thinking of keeping an eye out for a ristwatch converted from a pocketwatch. this was popular many years ago. and some examples look quite nice. i like this one below.
there is something quite charming about the 12 being off centre. -

My Sinn needs a new crown, stem and tube. Fuck.
Cannot afford it, but I love my watch and wear it constantly.
It's basically my own fault, I've had it a decade and not serviced it, and that caused it to slowly lose a bit more time each day, and my fat fingers would then adjust it manually every day or two, and in doing so I've threaded the tube that the winder goes through.
Should have serviced it regularly rather than consider it a work horse.
Total cost of service, crown, stem and tube for a Sinn... £250. A hell of a lot more than I wanted to part with. I was hoping for a sub-£100 fix.
On the up-side, I'm selling a few things this weekend and that will help cover this. But still.
