Cheers for the offer mate but I am living in Northern Sweden and posting would be a nightmare

Fraser Hart in Stratford Westfield is rebranding as a WoS it seems, result I guess.
Place opposite (Beaverbrooks?) had the Longines sector dial remake - actually really nice. Much more successful than that copper dial one. Bit thick compared to a vintage piece but it wears really nicely.

The Omega boutique has the green dial Aqua Terras as well. Also, shout out to whichever member of staff set every. single. watch. to eight past ten and thirty-seven seconds, and every date to the eighth. I salute your OCD.

Not now Chainbreaker. Seiko have announced another 62MAS remake. And this time it’s hi-beat. Plus there’s a 6R35 version with the right hands! And it’s only 40mm! They’ll sell a shit ton.

The others are pretty good too.

Ugh, why so much money.
Very much like the SLA039.

7 fucking thousand euro, and it's more expensive than the tuna that's now rated for 1,000 metres!

Oh fuck me that SLA037.

I have the original version - I think maybe 41mm .. not on trend, but I prefer bigger watches so I like the size
Build quality is ace, just feels like a much more expensive watch.. seems very accurate.
Downsides... noisy rotor as mentioned before .. sounds almost broken which is unnerving initially.
The newer version - the clasp is much improved over the version I have but looks whopping and out of proportion in my opinion - not seen it in the flesh though.

Yeah. Want.

$1150. Would buy right now if it was available.

They’ve been really clever with this one. It’s the best 6R35 one they’ve done by a mile IMO, but they’ve changed just enough, and the case is soft enough compared to the expensive one, that idiots like me are still going to want the 017/037.

I like that too. Probably too big for me though. Long wait to decide I suppose.

It’s not though. That’s the best bit. The last time they did a reimagined 62MAS in this price range it was something like 44mm and had arrow/pipette hands. This is 40mm and has the correct baton hands.

Yip. Eagerly awaiting ADs receiving stock....

I’ll probably try one when they start to show up.
Someone remind me when it’s time.

New seikos, very nice... But still ridiculous at nearly 15mm thick.

For rubber dive straps I'm really liking the Zulu diver ones from watch gecko. So far they last well ( I had one on a Seiko samurai for ages and no cracking and it gets used in the surf all the time) I have another on my glycine. It has a built in curve that wraps nicely around the wrist

It’s gained a little bit of thickness over the SLA017, 0.6mm. It’s quite a high domed crystal, but yeah. Not ideal. Worth noting that the cheaper version is “only” 13.2mm.
17mm. Jeez. Yeah. $14,900 over here. Surely nobody will buy this at retail!?
