  • easy to get tudor GMTs now it seems - preston's on Guildford high st;

  • Yeah I think it’s not a problem anymore. Fraser Hart in Westfield Stratford have a Fifty-Eight. Tried it on. Liked it. A lot, actually. If they did it in the BB Blue colourway...

  • Saw them I. Kingston prior to Xmas , not so eAsy on a bracelet though

  • This says "Ice watch" to me.

  • Nice store that. Went past about 3 months ago and the gent in the store had one on and said there was a year waiting list. Since then I've seen them in Goldsmiths, Fraser Hart and another store, all of them had a BB58 at the same time too.

@Regal I think they'll bring out other colourways this year for the BB58 and hopefully add a jubilee to the smaller BB36. Don't know if they'll allow that as its moving into the Rolex arena but I think that would really boost sales for them.

Really think they should have polished the BB36 S&G bezel, rather than the brushed finish and they would have done a lot better too in my opinion.

Is it just me that thinks 90% of Omega bracelets really suck?? They look so clunky to me and I really think they don't compliment their dial designs well. With the tech and finishing they have at there disposal I think the closures could be better too. Not the functionality but he look. The buckles on dress watches of theirs are much nicer I feel.

  • Monday sees a change on wrist .
It tends to divide opinion .. esp the lume

  • Still planning on selling this when I'm back in the UK.

Was super pissed to receive a £300 bill from eBay for selling my Tudor so am thinking of offering it to the forum for £1000. I'd rather it went to a good home for cheaps here than pay a penny to eBay.

If no interest by Wednesday, will advertise elsewhere.

  • Wow. That's a great offer. Wish it wasn't January and i actually had some money to spare.

  • It's a beaut and a fantastic price, but not for me sorry - on a strict watch embargo / reduction programme at the moment as we're expecting a new arrival later this year. Good luck with the sale though, that's a steal of a price.

  • Anyone aware of any new GMTs on the market outside of the commonly discussed ones?

  • Thanks. They don't tend to sell for any more than £1300 second hand so if you take eBay fees I to account, it's a modest forum discount. Either way, a bargain compared to new.

  • Also, before I forget, it's not perfect. The previous owner scratched up the rear of the lugs changing the strap. Barely noticeable and only from the back but a deal-breaker for some.

  • Cleaning out my watch boxes as well. Anyone interested in any of these? Sorry for cheeky ad.
Monny & Ros, Eta 2789-1, Pepsi bakelite bezel. Day date, Stainless, Marbled face. 37mm. £170 posted (From Sweden)
Clipper Alarm, Cal Venus 230, Stainless, 35mm. £170 Posted (From Sweden).

Some patina on both but otherwise VGC. Both working well and keeping time.

  • Yema has one coming in april. Might be overpriced for what it is but still.

  • I thought the Laco Frankfurt GMT that @ChainBreaker posted the other day looked pretty sweet.

  • @underuser53929 sorry but vom. As per the rest of their watches. They obviously also don’t realise that it looks like the dial has an old woman’s name written across it.

@psee - I do like this but I also do agree it’s a bit overpriced. I’d be more inclined to get a Farer at this price point.

@Howard that is pretty fun but way too big. Also, that logo>>>>

  • fun but way too big

Yeah too big for me, too.

  • Na. Didn’t really take to my Squale and a homage is a no go for me.

Given that my Aerospace is about as tooly as a watch gets, I’m looking for something a little more casual I think. Like the Farer Lander GMT and probably something that is a strap monster. I could also entertain a GS SBGN003. But is that an Explorer II homage? Who knows.....

  • Who knows.....

God knows. It's amazing how few options for what strikes me as a really useful feature. Other than Farer or digital there don't seem to be any budget options. After that it pretty much jumps to a ropey 16570 as the next cheapest option - both the Polar and the Trudeau are cool in their own ways.

  • Nereide

    Unity Phantom

Googling ETA 2893-2 brings up a variety of "interesting" kickstarters and the like.

  • ^ love that cabled iPhone headphones are now seen as a heritage prop.

  • Yeah... they’re all just a bit naff. There’s definitely options from the likes of Omega and Grand Seiko, but even their cheapest models are in the several thousands. Obvs.
