Good luck with the auction, I’m thinking of moving mine on too, yours is in better nick though.
Stripy sock, orange hand kinda day.

This is some high level matchy-matchy.
Few spots of rain, good thing I’m wearing a 200m rated divers’ watch.

I love that

Thanks. Never thought I’d sell it, but I only wear the 36mm. It just feels oversized now.

A guy on the overground has this - really want it
Gutted I didn’t take a wristy in front of it 🤦🏻♂️

That’s awesome. Even if the world looks like he’s wearing a Pop Swatch rather than a Rolex.

Moonwatch featuring Buzz, named after Aldrin. How apt.
NATO is far greener than the photo makes it look.

Suits you Sir, hope this is the keeper. We have a cat called Buzz, named after Buzz Lightyear 🙄

Lovely. Congrats!

Thanks, I would consider 'upgrading' to an earlier tritium ref but some form of Speedmaster Professional will be permanent :-)
Yeah - I have to stipulate to anyone that asks that he's Buzz (Aldrin), not Buzz (Lightyear).

This is great!

One Buzz was named after the other so, no worries @inchpincher , your cat 🐈 is named after both 🤓

I’d sooner name my animals after Toy Story characters. Less likely to lead to discomfort when investigative journalists destroy mythologies.

Then again a mate’s brother’s girlfriend named her rabbit Hardy (after Tom Hardy), and that rabbit was badass.

How bad ass?

Really nice apart from the date. Is it massive though?
-
• #37071
No.. . Good size at 43mm
-
• #37072
Hmm...
-
• #37073
Well, regardless of size, the date destroys it entirely. Buuut, the one nice thing about Breitling is that you never have to pay retail. Ever.

Was just walking the dog and a really old guy in a Vietnam veterans cap comes along and compliments the pooch. I notice an incredibly stretched bracelet on his watch and it looks very much like a Speedmaster.
I say 'nice Speedmaster' and show him mine. I ask how old it is and he tells me he purchased it in 1974 and has worn it every day since, on its original bracelet. Every day!
'It's the only watch you need. It lasts forever. Stainless steel because gold is is too soft.' He took it off, flipped it over. Hippocamus still very much visible, as was the 'Flight qualified by NASA' text. So cool. Soooo cool.

how much did you offer him :)
That’s the one.
