Anyone interested in Tudor Black Bay 58?? Brand new, just picked up today but between me ordering it and collecting it I decided to get engaged and can't really justify it as also went abroad for said proposal and the credit card it mounting!

Pfft, your partner got a ring, you get a watch! Just live on toast for a month to cover the bill.
-
• #36380
Aren’t they going for a premium over new still? Worth looking on Chrono24 etc.
-
• #36381
I've never sold on there, is it all pretty straight forward??
-
• #36382
I mean if anyone does want it I'm happy to do it for just a touch over retail at £2660, in person, no Paypal. Most are going for £2900 - £3000.

My thoughts exactly but now I've got the ball rolling we've got so much to save for and may be moving down the line too.

Handwinding Oris 65 X Hoodinkee sold out fast
Fortunately the Marc Newson X Hoodinkee Hourglass is still in stock
-
• #36386
The Oris 65 range is good looking
-

Don't tell Fred, but reproduction versions are available. Oddly only in the coloured dials. Which also makes me think you need to beware for any ebay purchases.
-
• #36388
The pretend ghost bezel annoys me, otherwise it’s really nice.
-
• #36389
Worked well for me... their cut is less than Ebay and their buyer protection is good, though you do have to jump through a few hoops to get verified.
Surprised if no one here wants it though!

Is this on the steel bracelet by the way? I might know someone who’s interested, if you don’t mind selling to a friend of a forumenger rather than forumengers only.
-
• #36391
Is indeed.

I am not local that's the only thing so would need to make a trip knowing that said person is very keen on the item, (obviously happy to provide photos etc) as it will cost me to travel and a day off too. If your happy to come with them and could link me to items you've sold or your eBay ect then we can potentially sort something out.

Yeah, I like that Oris a lot. Ghosty bezel a bit much though.
-
• #36394
i see an Oris in my near future . too tempted by the diver 65 and the pointer date

This is fun:

I really like that. Doesn't look too dressy. Maybe this could be the moonphase for me.
-
• #36398
Love that moon phase. If only they’d sort out their hideous logo!
-
• #36399
Also those Oris chrono’s are lush. Do they do a non bimetallic version?
-
• #36400
I'm with you on that one. Could never wear a watch with that logo on it!
Don’t. Just... please don’t.
If you do any research in to the guy who bought the Panerai brand in the 90’s you’ll find all sorts of shady dealings and what would charitably be considered risky business practices. The brand (perhaps the watches too, I’ve not looked) is several levels below Zenith as a result. I’ve heard this from several people in the industry, it’s not just my opinion.
