Ok, Tourbillion it is. sub-£200 though. It's my Commuter Crash Chrono, capish?
-
• #3583
Sub 200k?
-
• #3584
Oh, ok then. I guess I'll extend the budget.
It's a business expense though, right?
-
• #3585
Obviously. It allows you to get to work on time. Therefore it's a business expense.
-
• #3586
I have loads of watches and never get to work on time. Clearly they are all faulty so I need to invest heavily in time machine research. Business expense. Sorted.

If you want to stay with a Seiko, the 6138 movement is the most readily available chrono movement.
This eBay search shows quite a few designs: [url]http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l2736&_nkw=Seiko+6138Why would you post such link?! I supposed to pay for the internetz and gas first.

In a classic case of poor impulse control I picked up the new, solar-powered version of the Seiko military watch in Singapore 'cause it was cheap and now I realise how much more I want the SNZG15K1 auto version. Anybody interested in buying it?

Seiko SNDA65.
They're quartz and heaps cheaper in the US but I'm not getting stung with customs for one so fuck it.I'm going to be in the states next week... if you're serious then I'll keep an eye out for one as I'll be looking for something similar myself.

Three yrs ago this would have cost 50 quid new....

Quartz. Looks nice but I'm sticking with autos.

I use the sun to tell the time.... :)

In this country? That'd only work one month out of the year.

i've got this sneaking suspicion i may need to buy and mod a seiko. Damn this thread.
What are the starting points? Certain models only? I've checked the link above with all the mods that seem to be in no discernable order but is there anything else i need to watch (couldn't avoid it) out for?
But most of the modded watches seem to be divers.
I'm pissed off i'm even considering this as a good thing to spend my cash on at the moment.

Anybody know if these guys are legit? Or have a link to another reputable dealer that may have those in stock?
