Pretty much. I think it might be bigger than their standard square watches, because I’ve seen the regular black ones actually look fine on the wrist. I’ll have to try one at some point.
To be fair to the Bell & Ross, it was infinitely preferable in every way to these absurd Orises that were next to it in the window.

This is the one I was looking at. Looks fine without the addition of a wrist. ( to me)

Oh no, those ones really are massive. The BR01 are 46mm. The BR03, including the diver it seems, are 42mm.
I think it’s the case colour and the dumb strap as much as the case shape. It’s actually not even particularly thick.

Ah, not much use for me sorry.
@Stonehedge I need to decide if I have a watch to go with it but if you can send me some details I'll have a think, cheers.

The Seamaster 176.007 is available again. I’m my humble opinion this is Omega’s best automatic movement, the calibre 1040. Not least because it has centre chronograph seconds and minute hands as well as the 24h indicator in the 9 o’clock subdial. Hit me up if you’re interested.

Does Erica not make a plain green nato strap? Not feeling those stripes

Mrs CYOA has a Newgate something or other. Nothing wildly fancy but smart and she can tell time on it.
The strap has fairly rapidly disintegrated. It's a kind of 2-tone job - black on top, red underneath. Any idea where's a good bet to get a replacement?
Newgate say they don't offer spare parts and I'd have to send it in for a service at 35 quid plus postage, plus the cost of a strap which seems like some fuckery. -

Bit of a bargain here if somebody is looking for a nice dress watch. These gold manual Junghans Meisters are superb. Thin as fuck too at 7mm or so.
£950 new, so £570 is pretty good. You might even be able to bring them down a bit. I tried £500 yesterday but they rejected it.

Very much. Buckle a bit different but I'm sure that'd do the trick. Will double check width. Thanks for the link.

Often the buckle is only held in with a spring bar and can be switched.

Got the chance to see this in person today when Freddo dropped off the speedmaster racing. Really nice in the flesh, to my eye close to mint and feels lovely in the hand and on the wrist. Got to see the memo too but sadly it's sold. I would not have been able to resist it having seen it.
Thanks to Freddo who was great to deal with and delivered the watch right to my workplace.
Good luck with the Heuer. As I look at the speedy I'm thinking it's good to have achievable grails :)

Nice work!

It was my pleasure entirely and I’m glad you’re happy with the mark II. I love that these nice pieces are staying within the LFGSS family as well. I’m almost there with the Heuer, I need to sell the Seamaster (now further discounted) and add another grand to close the deal on it, but the seller is thankfully being patient.

It took me 12 years to buy another watch after buying the non-date sub. Here's my Friday contribution, probably won't happen every week but in the spirit of the thread :)

Another not-my-watch Friday. Not seen one of these IRL before. Pretty nice actually, but VERY shiny. Case is full high polish, crystal has no AR, dial is almost iridescent. Too much for me. Ok size though and I think the £1330 price tag is fair (given you could probably get a discount).

the seconds dial should have been larger. the rest i really like
Thanks. So, really, it is madness! Without a wrist, the watch does look good. The addition of the means to use the watch, the wrist, spoils it. All very odd.
