Or, as an alternative, you could get Murtle to make you one...
those are 24mm, the ones i made are all 22mm
Shame, Murtle's Flaps were such a success, I was looking to see how the Murtle's Straps worked out...

I liked that B&R.

• #3130
what changed your mind?
-
• #3131
I'm a bit meh about those square B&Rs, they look like they should be mounted in a cockpit, not worn on your wrist...
#justsayin -
• #3132
I agree, I love the old cockpit clocks

and Van, the marinemaster is so much nicer
Nup, Marine Masters look too much like my 6309 which is nice but the GMs differences make them betterererererer. No way at that price though. I'd rather get an IWC or Omega. Pro

he sold it once already for £1850 so either the buyer pulled out which is possible or he has a box of them which would not be good.
ts nice size but it seems big for your slender wrist no?

Selling his Omega to buy a Titanium bike frame.. :)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Omega-Seamaster-Chronograph-Automatic-8-Months-Old-/220839595985?pt=UK_Jewelery_Watches_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item336b10cfd1He says it includes loads of original stuff but is there any way to tell these ebay listed watches are actually genuine? I fancy one of the Omegas
That looks as sound as a pound.
Generally you buy the seller, not the watch. The pictures show an absolutely genuine Omega, with all the right boxes, books, tags and cards, the serial number in the right place, a nice smooth polished look to all the edges (fakes usually have sharp edges) and the dials and date window in the right place (impossible to fake if you're not using the correct movement) and the small seconds counting down and the large one at 12 (the large second being the chronometer seconds counter, not the time one),again impossible to fake with the wrong sort of movement. -

Joe, what's wrong with that automatic black military Seiko? Nice watch, tough, unpretentious, great movement for the lolly.

Since some Welsh fuckstain on ebay still owes me £380 I'm not trusting the piece of shit. I'd rather pay an extra few hundred and buy from a proper shop. Yeah, fuck you ebay, you heard, fuck you.

What happened? Have you been drinking? Is your real name Travis Bickle? ^
-
• #3140
Do not want... I was under the impression the 1st gen was an automatic... Got my eye on one of these now...
damn that's nice.

HTC Sensation new and unlocked was used and locked. I sent it back, they went quiet, holding onto my £380 in the process. I'm in the process of recovering it now but you have to wait and blah blah.

Pants! Best of luck with getting it sorted.

Now you understand why I never list eBay or Amazon as a retailer in any of the lists.
Hope you get the money back quickly. -

A friend brought me this back from Hong Kong once.
The case was replicated very well except that all the edges were sharp and the detail was rough. It even had a working dive extension for the clasp.
The bezel never quite lined up as it should and the helium escape valve was just another winder crown on a a short post. As you can see the lume on the hands and the bezel did not match that on the dial. The biggest giveaway, however is that the automatic movement it used was too small for the case, so that date window is way too far in from the edge the face. And look at that stupid font on the date wheel!
After about a week, when setting the time, the crown flew off the winding post, and the thing never did work after that. -

@TS: That would make sense, as that is exactly what they're inspired by! But I see what you mean, B&R -especially the 01 and 03 series- are a bit of an acquired taste - or marmite watches, so to speak.
@edscoble: Not quite following you there mate? If you mean the variations - yes, there are plenty 'limited editions' around unfortunately.
Loving the Omegas - bought a mid sized Seamaster for the ex she's wearing as a daily beater. Tried one on myself, but didn't entirely click. What I do want to own one day is a nice vintage Speedmaster Professional Mk III (the helmet cased one) with one of the more rarer dials (ie. with a hint of colour, rather than the b/w ones).
Oh well. Like I've said before, slippery slope...
