  • Missed out on a Sinn 656 today - and now I’m back looking at damasko DA36s

  • I do like the PRS-18Q, but I don’t think I’m looking for another diver this time. Something with a bracelet, not too dressy, and not a diver or chronograph.

    A quartz Explorer, basically.

  • is this still for sale? for that price in that condition i thought it would fly

  • I have a hardon 4 Damasko.

  • That’s like polishing a turd. My rep must be as negative as my bank balance.

  • I'd be slightly cautious with watches like these as they tend to pack quite a lot of Radium in them. That, and I'm not sure why someone would want to own a Nazi watch when you can buy an IWC or JLC RAF navigator's watch which is also a more suitable size.

  • Because they're incredible watches and part of history and some people don't wear all of the watches they own. They are collectors pieces.

  • Also fairly sure that watches couldn't join the nazi party.

  • Ditching these... any interest?

    Baby G BG-169G - working - offers/forum donation + post
Cronel Jet King - working, keeps time (didn’t notice a significant +/- over one minute) missing a bit of chrome on rear near crowns -£40 + post?
Citizen Eagle 7 - new SternKreuz crystal, runs a minute or so fast, haven’t adjusted, probably a bit magnetised, not an Ebay India special - £20 + post
    Casio AQ-307 - working, bit battered - offers/forum donation + post
    F-91 homage - forum donation + post

The Cronel is on a single piece chunky leather strap I made, not pretty but works. May include it if you’re desperate, but probably not worth it.

  • 1655 tho 🤤

    Edit. Steinhart. Ha.

  • I'll take the Baby G, please

  • I wish.

Still about £8k of watches accidentally dropped from a height. Box fucked but all the watches seem to be ticking. Will out them on a timegrapher later to check.

My heart sank when that happened.

  • Cool. It’s £50 new or something, then whatever the ebay current price is. You gonna make a good donation to the forum? Or want to send a wad to me on paypal and I do the donation minus post?

PM me to sort it all

  • I’ll drop you a message later, cheers

  • Quick update from outside a local hotel. My wife is pleased with the surprise present of the Omega. So I’m in the good books for a while - well at least until we get home!!!

  • I was listening through a load of 80s/90s electronic commercial music (like some of the wonderful muji in store music by Haruomi Hosono) and came across these pieces done for Seiko by Yasuaki Shimizu. Also forum-related by him would be his pieces for Bridgestone, I guess.

  • Keep in mind servicing a tuning fork movement is specialty work, from what I´ve heard
