Thanks both. I have to reseat the crystal as it had been put on slightly off centre, stopping the crown from sitting flat. So when I did I just gave it a careful wipe with a cotton bud to get the dust/crud off. Left it as is otherwise, I don't mind its age showing, it is over 40 after all.

Been wearing the Onsa at work and realised two things:

1, modern hands with the smaller hour is way easier to read
2, I was totally wrong about date windows - I keep looking at the dial to check the date and remembering I got this especially for its lack of.

That aside, totally love it.

I'm after the new Hamilton Khaki Pilot Air Zermatt edition. The new one. Fuckers only making 100 and for sale in CH only. The only Hamilton distributor that I know in Switzerland doesn't have any.

Probably all gone to their ground crew as presents. Or not available yet. Either way, my chances of getting one are zero.
