You’d think so, but every iPhone box in the house is missing them. Balls.
Think I might have to drop it in with the local watch repair place in the morning

Too long springbars can be a bitch.
I bought a Longines that was fitted with too long springbars last year. The case of the watch was badly scratched where the previous owner had trialled and failed to remove the bracelet. He had bent the end pieces and everything. I ended up making the tactical decision to dremel the bracelet off as it was pretty damaged anyway.
I'm sure a proper watch person with proper tools and experience will be able to find a less drastic solution!

That Onsa auto had one that just wouldn't move. Fortunately there was no strap so I could pull it from the middle and bend it out

Hey guys. So I have an early 90s Tag Heuer Formula 1 like the one in the picture below. The plastic ring around the watchface has cracked, it’s now missing the pin which connects the bracelet links to one side of the clasp, and I wouldn’t mind having a new waterproof seal put in it.
Has anyone got any reccomendations as to where I can take it?

I've snapped springbars before by twisting the bracelet.
This was on a cheap shit watch though and no worries about damage -

I’ve given up, local watch guy is having a go now with a Dremel. Said they weren’t the wrong spring bars, just “the right ones for making sure it was permanent”

The Omega Boutique called me- they’ve got the correct buckle in now. Nothing but good things to say about buying from them, seriously impressed.

How many wheelbarrows of cash are they asking?

My dad took his to a high St watch shop and they replaced it when he bought a strap. Pretty sure they're commonly available.
Stupidly he didn't ask to keep the original one tho.

I see. I just assumed that some of those particular parts from the 90s watches wouldn’t be in very popular demand, so would be a little tough to find.

eBay has a bunch I think. I don't know tags but to could be something you could do...

Copied you. Bought the PADI Turtle for £297.99 from Lowry Jewellers. Only £5 more than a Chrono24 seller in the Netherlands, but is also £130 off RRP, which is what everyone else is still selling them for.

Do people think this looks over-polished? It’s an eastern market jumbo constellation, on omega forums for about £1100.

Very very cool! I just wish Swatche’s were a tiny tiny bit quieter. I used to hide mine in my underwear drawer because it ticked so loudly and I needed sound absorption!

@Stonehedge @JB Thanks, I'm in love with 24h watches. Anybody know why whatches are usually in 12h instead of 24h ?

This is anecdotal at best but some of my European colleagues laugh at me and call me "army boy" if I use the 24 hour clock. Perhaps most people still prefer 12 hour...
Like nearly everything about it apart from the cathedral hands.
