@starfish&coffee
I'm surprised that the perlon you bought is crap. The eulit palma perlon that I have is thicker than a usual perlon and has held up fine. The buckle is solid too. It gets worn in the surf a few times a week and is still perfect. It was only £18 when I bought from watch gecko last year. I'd try a genuine Eulit one, but maybe see if they'll refund you first. And to reiterate, the palma has a special weave using thicker nylon if that's what your after. -

Yep, I've got an Eulit perlon from watchgecko and it's decent. Not amazing but worth the cash.

Watchgecko sell eulit, and then their own Geckota brand. Think the own brand ones are toss.

That's really nice. The Seiko was posted on Analog Shift's Instagram, along with a few other watches, on Friday, saying it was new in. Went straight to the site to check it out, but it wasn't there, and still isn't. Maybe someone sensible and lucky bought it immediately. I love how the patina on the hour markers and hands seems to match the scratches on the bezel.

My dress watch I mentioned before. Need to get a case back knife and replace the battery.

End game for me. The final piece of the collection.
Delivered to work on a day I was off, but a friend collected it. A little concerned since it's come from Chrono24, listed as full set - box and papers. Maybe the photo is deceptive, but that box looks a little thin to hold a proper box.
The guy should arrive at work in a couple of hours. Somewhat excited!

This.
It's the watchgecko own brand one that is complete rubbish.I'm wearing an Eulit Panama right now. I reckon its just about decent. But still a fairly flimsy item, and £22 is a fucked up price considering that the prod cost can't have been more than 50p.
There's deffo potential for someone to start something here. If a stretchy braided belt can cost less than a quid wholesale, I reckon there's plenty of room to make a decent braided elastic watch strap for a RRP of, say, £20. I'll just need to watch the fake wheel company vid a few more times and the next thing you'll know I'm the king of the watch geek internets.

So this is the watch she wants. Now where to get it and can I get it cheaper than that...

Think you may be out of luck in Brexit Britain. The grey market discounts dried up when the pound dropped, and AIUI, you've always been unlikely to get any kind of discount on a steel watch at an AD.
Good choice, though. I'd love one of those with a blue dial.

I did feel a bit like I was playing dress up when I put it on. I usually have that feeling with a new watch, but not like this.
I've been saving for the 6 years I've been doing an OU degree in order to celebrate its completion with a watch. Submitted my final piece of work on Friday :D
