it looks as though its at the smallest it can be using the pins. links might have to be removed.
it makes me think of beige safari suits and the roger moore era of james bond. nice.

look at the back of the links. some of them have a little arrow stamped. those links can be disassembled and removed.
use a pointy thing to push the centre of the link out (sort of a skewer thing) from the side of the arrow in the direction of the arrow.
I make sense, yes? -

Be warned, re-sizing Seiko bracelets is a monumental pain in the hole.

@Stonehedge you've got me a-thinkin about a-tinkerin.
What tools are you using? -

You need good quality screwdrivers and a couple of pairs of tweezers. Size 2 and 5 are a good starting point. Oh and a couple of Loupes. I use x4 and x10
Bergeon are a reliable and mid range brand for all watch making tools.
I spent about £100 on my screwdrivers and another £100 on two pairs of tweezers and two Loupes. You can probably do it for less than that but I'm enjoying the quality of my kit.

Cheers. And presumably one of those fancy little cradles to hold the movements?

Yes, a fairly cheap plastic one actually. Very useful.
Hand remover, blower, parts trays, pith wood and some finger cots are pretty handy too.

Six years ago since that photo of John riding my bike upside down was taken. Time flies.

Was thinking of doing the same last night as I was getting sick of waiting for my NATO to show up. Looked at the process online and it seemed like a lot of potential arseache so I put it back in the box and will try to be a bit more patient.

I've been on a seiko eBay binge, bought 1 (gold, automatic, old) bidding on 2 (Seiko 5s) and have another 6 on watch.

Bit of advice to anyone using Presto hand removers - never use Indian or Chinese copies as they are shite and run hands. Bergeon Swiss only.

it's always worth getting a dial protector like the Bergen ones.

Good call. I actually use an old piece of clear plastic taken from a selabale bag over the hands and dial so that the presto puller doesn't really touch them at all.
@BRM's right tho', it's just a Bomber in a new case... Hasn't even got all the fun stuff like the altimeter, etc...
