what is the exact problem? are you just trying to be a bit of an internet warrior or did I actually break any sacred rules and offend you?
-
• #19861
I believe it's a case of not following the classifieds rules as LFGSS have some sort of liability.

Lovely dial.

there's no form of liability on the forum side for sales made on here. velocio's been clear on that hence why he always insists people pay with paypal protection.
I've been selling on here for years, always followed rules and never had any problems. on the one occasion that I genuinely don't know what something's worth and ask for offers some dickhead pipes up and starts calling me out.
he can go suck his nan through a caprisun straw.
peace out.

lol wtf?
In semi-related news, my SNZG15 has stopped this morning - it had ran down over the weekend but is now refusing to start. Service? If so, where?

I put my solar powered Casio on this morning, it was in a box so had stopped, I gave it half a day on the window sill to charge up again and it's put itself back to the right day and time. Magic.

Cut the cunting stem too short. Lost the second hand too.
It was all going so well.
-
• #19868
If you've cut your cunting stem I'd get down to A&E pronto mate.

On the plus side I've managed to strip a movement, clean it, oil it and put it back together again so that it works.
Anybody willing to let me practice on their Rolex?

G-Shocks. I've always fancied one since I was a kid, kind of went off them when I was getting in to more 'grown-up' watches and then have found myself wanting one again. Been thinking of the Dark Green Mudman G-9000. Anyone owned one? General thoughts on a G-shock as a total tool watch?

they're awesome. I froze mine in a pint for a week and then threw the ice off the fourth floor. watch was as good as new.

I once had a Casio Pro-trek die in ~-30 degree temperatures while climbing in Canada. Not sure I'd be so brave with another Casio watch!

Do I go for a Mudman or will the cheapest gothest G-Shock do?
-
• #19874
I'd go cheapest unless you have a specific adventurous goal. Mine has taken everything I've thrown at it.

I have a Pro-Trek PWR-3000. Nice big numbers, may not be as tough as a G-shock but it's survived being bashed around, hiking, bug spray on it every day, sea swimming, etc with no issues. The compass is surprisingly useful when travelling. It's still largish but a bit thinner than a G-shock.
