  • What size is it?

  • The face or the strap? Or both?

  • actually looks good there

  • Actually - his left foot look miles away from anything else. Like it's not even his. Disembodied leg.

PS - If it was the Ocean One I'd take it off your hands. Soz @Dammit

  • needz a beefier strap, especially leather, I knows a guy who makez them...

  • That's bloody lovely, I could get behind one of those... What's the model? It's almost a 1016!

  • I'm selling an Ocean One.. black..ceramic bezel...

  • The face. I'm guessing you have all the links and the strap is adjustable. I checked the website and they say 42mm without the crown. Does it wear large, as they say?

How come you've decide to sell it?

I'm very tempted, but not sure if I'll get into trouble for an unnecessary purchase. I've had to put my Polar Explorer ii plans on hold... so I can mentally justify it.

I'm quickly realising how important it is to spend all your money on fun stuff you want while you're young, devoid of attachments and responsibilities.

  • It'll be a month before I decide to anything. New shopper biek project may take priority. Don't wait on me. Thank you though, that's a very kind offer.

I think you'd have to try it on to see how it sized up on your wrist tbh - I don't have the experience to say one way or the other.

I took the original bracelet off as soon as the watch arrived and transferred the older, shortened bracelet from my other Steinhart onto it, so the bracelet that belongs to this watch still has the plastic on it, sat in the box.

I've decided to sell it as I never wear it, I usually have either my Fenix II or my other Steinhart (which is on a Nato, as it's bracelet is on the Ocean GMT).

  • It's a 72000 or something like that. I think I may have bought it on a whim, but I'll see how I get on with it when it arrives.

  • Keep me in the loop... ;)

How big is it? Nice and small, I'd imagine...

  • Wearing mine today too, but on a bit of sunshiny NATO. DIY and gardening watch for me, but love it lots.

  • nice.. not the same though ;)

  • 32mm excluding crown, if I remember correctly.

    Here we go:

  • I recognise that stitching :)

  • Just a brief update on my sub £300 Omega search - I found a place in London which does a lot of them around this price point. None of them are straight up collectors items - most of them are of the Indian school of vintage watches, so the movements and cases tend to be original but they've got replacement backs and straps and sometimes crowns - but they're quite up front about it. Anyway I picked something up from there and I'm very happy. Link is http://www.vintagewatchmart.com/

  • Apart from the steinhart ocean one military are there any other diver watches out there that do not have a date, I guess I would go to about 2k. Please thanks. Cheaper is preferable

  • You certainly do! I love both of the wallets you made for me. I get a LOT of positive comments on the ultra thin jacket wallet you made.

  • Thanks the mk11 and the precista look as though they fit the bill, a quick Google seems to suggest they are not available, or am I doing it wrong? Any tips as to where I can buy one?

  • no idea, I know the precista is super rare, I wasn't really limiting my search to your budget just interested in no-date divers along the same lines as the steinhart.

just get that, it's lovely. (mk1)

No, available now if you want one. £395, stonking watches.

  • You can pick one of these up used, or a new one from a grey market dealer for less than £2k.

  • Thanks I'll give them a call tomorrow, could I have a metal strap fitted to it?
